I own the donor already. I have a Pinarello that's just hanging around. It's a nine speed triple, Mirage group. That should get me rolling. I'll just need to buy cables, housing and probably a bottom bracket, since I'm sure that one is Italian. Possibly a chain, depending on how long the Silvio's stays are. I found on my conversion, I needed the entire chain.

Thank you, Jack! Yes, it's very good news. I'm kind of geeky right now in anticipation. I was going to order the frameset this morning, but by the time I paid shipping, I would have less than $15 in my account. Tomorrow, I get the money for my other bike, so I will order it after that takes place. I've been waiting this long, another 24 hours won't kill me. I hope.

What's really going to be hard is the wait for the frameset to get here!

I got my frameset about 9 days after I ordered, by USPS. Pretty quick for overseas!

I know my conversion kit came pretty quickly, I was impressed.

So, my frame is ordered. Now, I sit here and wonder where my frame is. Is it warm? Is it receiving gentle, loving care? Are it's bearings lubed? sigh..... These are just a few of the many things you worry about when you're anxious for your baby!

Took Mine Longer

My Silvio frameset took much longer than nine days, because they were still being welded up. Speaking of the welds, the first thing I did was to examine 'em and the workmanship was superb. That you guys are getting your framesets in nine days is great! Means they must have some in stock, and it must take nine days from Taiwan. Sounds about right. Mine came via USPS, too.
