Please look at the information from Recubent bikology. They used an old man mountain sherpa rack fitted on backwards with ortlieb bags and radical design bags. I used this same setup with commuter arkel panniers (no longer manufactured).

Long Chain Stay & heavy duty rack What are the advantages or disadvantages of the long chain stay for the quest bicycle? Do you think it would be easy to add side rails to the heavy duty rack for the quest bicycle so that I could carry two panniers? Thanks for your help
