Are you planning to install a mechanical or electronic derailleur? If electronic, the pulley kit is not required. If mechanical, I can send some pictures of how to route cabling. I bought a V20 last year that had been built from a frame kit and I think they missed the pulley kit so used a creative method to get it to work. Surprisingly, their solution did function, but I have now added the pulley kit and installed correctly. Can anyone share a few images of the
Front Derailleur Stalk and Pulley Kit installed? From looking at the picture it is not clear to me where/how this bolts on and how a front derailleur is mounted. Thanks
Attached are 5 photos. Three are documenting the creative way it had been installed without the pulley. It did work for me until I changed it and the previous owner had ridden it that way the whole time he owned it so I have to give it credit. Nice to know it works in a pinch. The last two photos show how the cable routing is correctly installed using the pulley. Hope this helps. On another note, due to some excess in the welds on my S40 frame, I did have to do a bit of filing to get the stalk to fit correctly so you could have some of those issues as well.I would be mechanical, so any pictures would help. It shows in the video and the package for sale on line is said to have a pulley. But whatever you have please share. I am thinking go with 2 up front and keep everything else as production. Cold, snow, sleet and rain here so it might be April before I can get back on and start learning all over again. Thanks
