Day 3 of learning - 70km ride

Did a solo ride of 70 odd kms (with some climbs thrown in, stray dogs running behind, heavy highway traffic).
Being an introvert, I never saw so many eyeballs staring at me/bike.
And the amount of smiles that the bike garnered was simply amazing.
I think I may have made the day of those millions (exaggerated number :) ) who saw me riding today.

Pros of the ride today
I learnt control over fast .. really fast downhills.
Start and stop is very easy now.
Traffic fear is out of the window.
Lots of stares.

Cons:
Sun burn.
Dust and pollution / cold due to early winter morning ride.

Location: Nelligudde lake near bangalore.

Nice going guys. Brom, it I'd recommend long sleeves and lycra type pants. Of course partly for the UV protection, but also for speed and road rash. If you don't wanna be THAT sexy while riding then tight fitting hiking pants that can be cinched at the ankles or just rubber banded there is another option. I bought a pair of Ternua pants that I works well when I did a few short trips with a friend. Those come in plenty of hi-vis colors, are water repellant and have a few pockets with good quality zippers that won't fail at the worst time.
