Bringing your dog on the bike - Anybody?

Does anybody ride with their dog? If so, how? I'm thinking of an A4X with a carrier on the back rack. He'll be about 15 lbs full grown.

It's easy to mount a dog carrier on the T50. The rack I'm using is a Blackburn Local Deluxe, an inexpensive, compact, highly adjustable and disc brake compatible rack that is no longer in production,
Previous to this bike I had the carrier mounted on a Cruzbike Freerider which had both front and rear suspension. I was able to use an old rack I had lying around on that bike since it had caliper brakes.

Thanks for that Tuloose. Just the picture I was looking for. I'm curious about the rack mounts on the new A4X. It looks like it's definitely a custom (and spendy) rack but I'm wondering about the stability with 15 lbs of wiggly dog on it.

On 2nd look at the back rack mounted on the A4X it looks like the rack mounts super high over the back tire! Dang it - I was hoping to get an A4X.

I think I'll look at mounting a rack on my S40 instead...
