I recently replaced the Ridever brake calipers with GrowTac Equals and have been pleased with the improved performance. Today, while putting the bike away, I noticed a curious "knocking". If I lightly apply the front brake while holding the bike upright and pushing it forward and backward, the front wheel would slightly rotate in either direction and a distinct knocking sound could be heard. The movement would decrease as the force at the lever increased, disappearing when the force was sufficiently high. The rear brake seemed to do the same, though the sound was less. I don't recall this phenomenon with the Ridever calipers. Is this some weird phenomenon with the GrowTac's. I verified that the caliper mounting T25 bolts were properly torqued. The knocking does not occur with normal operation.
