There are small wedges that you can get at an LBS to help shim the FD at an angle. They aren't super common but they can help change the angle just enough. Some DR's have a curve that seems to contact rings sometimes.

Mine's a bolt-on, will it work with it?

Yes those work with braze-on style DR's They go between the DR and the mount to slightly change the angle at which the cage interacts with the rings.

So, do I need to change to a braze-on FD? Because, at this time, I can't seem to use this particular FD, or would a different bolt-on FD work?
