    S2.1 chainring advice

I have a compact 50/34 chainring paired with a 11-36. My upright friends ride the same setup. I can ride up the same hills that they do. I am getting older so I am considering switching to a 46/30 in a few years. Good luck.

    Handlebars too wide?

Here is a forum conversation about handlebars from a few years back. https://forum.cruzbike.com/threads/s30-water-bottle-mounts-and-handlebar.11247/#post-126320 It will give you a few ideas. I ride an S30 and use the Salsa woodchipper bar at 440 width. The basic deal is to run a bar about the...

Where do you all carry your water?

That is a nice looking adapter. Are you planning on selling the adapter? It is a nicer look than the Cruzbike piece around the headrest tubes.

    Electric Silvio

Thank you for the report. It sounds like this might be in my future. I love my S30, in fact, I love it so much that I have two S30’s. The weight does concern me some since transporting the bike might be difficult. I do like where you mounted the battery and hub motor. This could certainly keep...

    Electric Silvio

I rarely do group rides, mainly because I get intimidated with being able to stay up with the group. When I do ride with a group, it is not an issue with being up with the group. I pick my group carefully. But my metal gymnastics keeps me riding by myself which is ok. I can ride on my own...

It looks great. I will be interested in your follow up comments after you have put a few miles on the bike. Well done.

    Electric Silvio

Very nice. I may have to add assist to my rides one day so I will be watching this with interest. Your bike looks in great shape. I have one like it. Please, take us along on your electrifying journey! I am always amazed at someone’s skills to visualize and bring to life a project. All the...

    Silvio 2.1 bag advice

Here is a pic of my Silvio. I use a regular underseat bag attached to the head rails for my phone, food etc. It isn’t exactly what you asked for but might be an option for you. They come in lots of sizes.

    Silvio 2.1 bag advice

Check out post #2 in the thread by Ivan. There is a pic with his 2.0 https://forum.cruzbike.com/threads/silvio-2-0-boom-slider-replaced.12726/#post-151140. He uses a relevant design pika bag.

My Very First Recumbent is a V20

Would the mount attach to the Cruzbike utility post add on? It looks like a really nice bag. Good luck with your tinkering.

    S40 in the fleet

    S40 wheel base is 44.5”. The Silvio 2 is 42”. The V20c is 45.3”.

    S40 in the fleet

There are several difference. The ones I can think of are….the Silvio 1.0 has front and rear suspension. The 1.0 has a shorter wheelbase and the seat is at 45 degrees. The forks are narrower than the S40. The front boom is slimmer than the S40. The S40 is setup for touring with available racks...
