I have a compact 50/34 chainring paired with a 11-36. My upright friends ride the same setup. I can ride up the same hills that they do. I am getting older so I am considering switching to a 46/30 in a few years. Good luck.

Here is a pic of my Silvio. I use a regular underseat bag attached to the head rails for my phone, food etc. It isn’t exactly what you asked for but might be an option for you. They come in lots of sizes.

S40 wheel base is 44.5”. The Silvio 2 is 42”. The V20c is 45.3”.

There are several difference. The ones I can think of are….the Silvio 1.0 has front and rear suspension. The 1.0 has a shorter wheelbase and the seat is at 45 degrees. The forks are narrower than the S40. The front boom is slimmer than the S40. The S40 is setup for touring with available racks...
