    Neck rest?seat angle issues

Finally....done with this seat mod. Because the Thor seat changed the seat angle etc I had to lengthen the boom. Easy enough. But that brought the bottom bracket lower which meant my right leg was hitting the caliper brake with every turn of the cranks. So, changed front brake to Tri Rig Omega...

    Adjustable seat angle ideas

You’ve set an admirable goal and a challenging one! I’ve included a few pics of something similar to your mock-up but it was done with no intention of adjustability; my goal was to eliminate the need for a headrest at the cost of losing some aero advantage. I’m sharing them just for comparison...

Zwift - Cruzbike Activities (races and group rides)

After 2 weeks waiting on TACX to send the disc extractor tool, followed by 3 weeks of illness (the Man Flu....aughh!!), I'm just getting some rides around 'London' and 'California' in (at a distressingly low watts/kg :(). Can't wait to get in good enough shape to start at the low end of the race...

    Chain coming off chainring

Agreed. I have been running SRAM 1x11 on my Vendetta with no problem. I use the Apex 1x11 road RD; has the clutch, and built in barrel adjuster. Works very well. Also use the wide/narrow chainring.

And a couple more No room under this seat for water bottles but at least one 24 oz fits on the seat support for longer rides.

Thor seat finally here and in place. [A shout out to Betsy and Robby (@castlerobber and her husband) for meeting me at a spot midway between our homes to let me ride her Silvio with the Thor Sport size small—-it fit well. Also thanks to them for the jeweler’s rubber block!] First, I’ll say that...

Should I take clipless pedals off?

Speedplay Frogs are the best I’ve ever used. Never had any need for shimming etc; they stay put until you want out and then they are the easiest, fastest, most reliable release available. Imho.

Hello @Gary123, any chance you could share a few photos of your zip tie solution for the Thor seat? I’m considering the options for keeping it stable.

Adding my sympathy to the rest and wishing you a speedy recovery also. What a stroke of bad fortune! Wondering if her mobile phone was involved in the SMIDSY? Hard to see you if she's texting....

Zwift - Crubike beginners guide and how to's (Q&A to get you going)

Hey, thanks, that’s great info and makes me feel a lot better. I got the Neo in the mail yesterday; got home late from work and got it set up, to hear that noise going on. Went to bed a bit discouraged. No Neo dealer nearby so I will contact Tacx about the puller. Thanks again.

Zwift - Crubike beginners guide and how to's (Q&A to get you going)

Neo here and Vendetta on without problem. Have not really explored/ridden yet but noticed while checking indexing on the trainer cassette that when turning the pedals there’s an odd herky-jerky feel to start off and an odd rattling/clanking from inside the trainer. Is that normal??

Zwift - Crubike beginners guide and how to's (Q&A to get you going)

Thank you Bill. I have a garmin cadence sensor already in place so if the Neo gets weird about it i'll use the garmin in indoor mode. Good to know the Neo sometimes gives false reading.

Thank you Pollock and Hardy! Ordering today, and happy to hear it works via bluetooth with iPad Pro, coz, who wants ant dongles around the house anyway, right? ;) Good to know about the mats at Tractor Supply too, we have one close by. On the verge of ordering TACX Neo. Never thought I would do that so haven’t kept up with this thread but will read all closely (and take notes!) over the next few days—I’m behind on this tech etc but will learn fast. Heck I mastered Epic EMR, I’ll catch on to this! In the meantime what do I need...
