    Robert's V20 build

I think they would be too, though some have done it. Out of curiosity, what handlebars are you going to use?

Cobb 155mm crank.. should there be play when installed?

It can't hurt to call and complain--tell them you know two other people who have had that problem. Maybe it's something fixable. As noted, I've installed a couple before without any issues. So maybe it's a recent mfg problem, and fixable. Anyway, it can't hurt to call. When I called, they sent...

I agree. SRAM cranks....no such problem.

Cobb 155mm crank.. should there be play when installed?

i didn't use a wave washer. i see what you mean about the rotational play. mine doesn't do that. not familiar with the little gasket from the sram bb. i used the bb that came with the cobb crankset.

Cobb 155mm crank.. should there be play when installed?

Just from experience with Cobb cranks: remove the crankset from your bottom bracket and shell. Put the crank arm on the spindle as if you were installing it on your bike. Torque to spec, then torque it some more. Ditch the torque wrench for the moment and tighten it down **unreasonably** tight...

    Zip tie front triangle...?

Not long ago someone (I think it was Jim Parker?) posted how to zip tie the front fork and chainstay of a Vendetta so that it won’t come apart when removing the wheel but now I can’t find that post. Anyone know where to find it?

    Garmin Edge mounting on Vendetta

I looped 2 of the garmin bands together (one larger diameter, one smaller) to get more length, then 2 more of the same to get 2 complete longer bands, then there was plenty of length to install the garmin mount around the bar and clamp (crisscrossed the bands for extra stability)

I wonder where the music for that ad came from? If it's from a recording artist I'd love to buy it.

    S40

Just for my own clarification— are you using SRAM Apex double chain ring crank set with just the one Biopace ring, or SRAM Apex 1 crank set? If you’re just using the 2x Apex, and not the Apex 1, did you do anything to alter the chain line (supposedly the 1x has the ring in an optimal position...

Sweet. Am trying the Rival 1 on a DF. If I like it, I may employ it on the V. But the biopace chainring is intriguing.

V20, ok for a short guy with short legs?

I thought about taking some out of the headrest too, but went with the 'suspension' adjustable headrest. works great.

V20, ok for a short guy with short legs?

ps @leew I used to ride a Bacchetta too, albeit with 700c wheels. Even with 26" wheels I think reaching the ground at stops would have been troublesome. On the Vendetta, as on the Silvio, I have room to spare in that regard.

V20, ok for a short guy with short legs?

As mentioned above by castlerobber (Betsy I'm only 5' 5.75"....I seem to be shrinking lol) but with a 41.5" ex-seam, and the standard chainstay V20 fits me just fine. In fact, at your height, you'll fit the bike better than I do because your shorter ex-seam will make it easier to get adequate...

    Another new V owner

YBN's are not as pretty as the KMC gold chains but if you plan to wax your chains, and have a few bucks to spare to save yourself the effort of deep cleaning (which is much easier with an ultrasonic cleaner of course) and the first waxing, Molten Speed Wax will sell you a cleaned, already waxed...
