    Cruztrike???

The forum defaults won't let someone newly registered post. If you bug an admin, or do some more pics, then you can post pics/links! I am interested in seeing them!

    Tubeless tires anyone?

Probably. More interestingly, it probably also means (even) less control if/when tire pressure is lost. But always, "it depends". I also don't see anyone actually testing this in a controlled way, so it is just anecdotal evidence until someone actually decides to do a study...

    Mark B's S 40 Build

I do something similar using a brake/shifter cable: Run the cable through the frame, then feed the housing onto the cable. At the frame holes, the housing is easy to manipulate by pulling on the cable. (I use a tandem length super long cable for this, mostly out of laziness.) I haven't tried...

    custom seat build

This is likely blinding obvious to you, but just in case, be sure to use lots of saddle wax to make sure that first rainy day doesn't mess everything up!

    S40 finally assembled and ready!

Brake adjustment: I've had to face my brake mounts on one fork to get things working well (athis is a last resort kinda thing to do). I also had to put in new pads, as the old ones had worn asymmetrically (slanted). Check the pads to see if they are wearing 'flat' or just put some new ones on...

    Tubeless tires anyone?

I like the Pedro (plastic) tire levers for that job. I've broken a few 'steel core' tire levers but never the Pedro's.

    Quarq TyreWiz

After getting a few flats while commuting to/from work on my S30v2, I decided to get something to counter my laziness. In particular, I've been too lazy to check my tire pressure in the mornings and afternoons, instead just squeezing the tire by hand, shrugging and thinking ''good enough", and...

The Optimum Hip Angle for Maximum power?

Another thing that could be done is to change bike geometry for climbing vs not. One if the reasons why swing-arm based rear wheels are fun is that this is something you could actually reasonably do without too much weight penalty.

    Livestrong Challenge century ride

Ditto. Disc brake front, rim brake on the rear.

    Road bike vs. recumbent comparison

Ya, there is the "comfort carbon" seat from volae. https://hostelshoppe.com/VOLAE-Hardshell-Comfort-Carbon-Fiber-Seat-Small-156881/ Subtle differences from the Thor, and it is definitely both stiffer and heavier.

    S40 finally assembled and ready!

Thankfully, truing a rotor is fairly easy if you're willing to try! Great to hear it is working now!

The Optimum Hip Angle for Maximum power?

With handlebars set "correctly" you can also sit up to change the hip angle. I did this quite a bit during my tour-of-the-east-coast on the S30. I used the normal laid-back position for everywhere but the really steep stuff, and for that I'd be sitting up with chest rubbing (but not pushing) on...

V20 Rival 22 Hydraulic Disk Brake Upgrade Completed

I'l be curious to hear if you can lock-up the 160s on that. I can't lock up mine, so I keep thinking about how to get a 180 on there...

Pretty! Aside: I wonder how many CBikers we have in GA!

    New T50 Build

I have both (Silvio and P38), and the Silvio S30 is better until around 20% grades, at which point the P38 is better because the rear (drive) wheel doesn't slip. I find on all but those 20%+ grades the S30 performs about as well as my diamond frame at my current fitness level (ymmv). Part of...

    Mark B's S 40 Build

I'd prefer a 180 front, at least for me, but 160 is 'ok'. 160 has the dubious advantage of never being able to fully lock up my front wheel.

To the fellow CBiker seen this morning

Huh, neat! I enjoyed a biography on Tesla earlier in the year, and while they mentioned New York, they left out the name Menlo Park. Very interesting!
