Puncture Proof Tyres on a Quest

I haven't but I mine are are relatively new with low miles (I'm only putting on 20 miles a week). The newer tires V2 are softer than the old ones (I've got V1) and will subject wheels to less damage. I wouldn't put them on very expensive rims, but otherwise you're likely to be o.k.

Puncture Proof Tyres on a Quest

I've got Tannus tires on my commuter Cruzbike. They're slower than good tires by a fair bit, but they are puncture proof. If you had two sets of rims, it would make the switch less crazy. You could switch back and forth.

    QX100 early review

That might be the best name for a bicycle ever. (Particularly given Yoda's penchant for talking backwards.)

    My journey to a V20

Nice! I will say again that I really want somebody to buy a V1.X silvio and dress her up like a F40. Oh, how I think she would fly!

    V20 frame quality

That is what he's known for. :) Of course, he may be just more forthcoming Cruzbike owner in existence. :)

T50 - whatcha planning to build.....

or, 40RPM at 2.5 mph. Go lower. :) It really depends on your knees and your style. I don't like pushing and really do like spinning up big hills. I can go ~2.5 mph on most of my Cruzbikes for very long periods of time. Ratz is right. If you like small steps, then a triple with a tight...

    Silvio 1.0

This is a fantastic deal for whoever is looking for an upright Silvio. Just sayin'. :)

T50 - Everyone likes a bike you can kick start

I don't disagree with your assessment at all. I don't like Apple products because they are very much tailored to the masses and not the technically competent (not so much the mac, but the iStuff). And that being said, I don't disagree with Apple for doing it. (I just won't buy it. :) ). I...

T50 - Everyone likes a bike you can kick start

I don't need suspension. Folding, though would be very cool (more to come soon in a different thread...).

T50 - Everyone likes a bike you can kick start

I think you summed it up pretty well. The biggest other difference I see is that this bike was designed to be a Cruzbike from the beginning, where as the Sofrider used a standard y frame. (I am basing this on looking at the pictures, I don't really know anything.) The only question I have is...

    Silvio 2.0

It had to go quickly at that price.

    V20 finding that fit

Can you post the same picture with your heal on the pedal? I always start by setting my boom up so that my knee is straight with the heal on the pedal and then tweak it from there. I'm curious how close to ideal your fit is to that starting point.

    WTB Silvio 1.5

Huh. I would have guessed exactly the opposite as your first part. :) I've ridden my Sofrider and Mantis with angles between 50 to around 35. I would have thought that an original angle Silvio would a great idea. (But I've never ridden an original Silvio and only ridden a modern Silvio in a...

    Quest 451 to 507

I have moustache bars with trigger shifters on both my Sofrider and my Cruzigami (and I can't seem to find any pictures ?????). On my folding tandem I have something similar with wider handlebars

    New Bike Blues

With a really wide 11 cassette, I might be tempted to try a double. But with my current cruzbikes, I get over 600% with my triple and I think that's going to be hard to match. How wide a double crankset is readily available?
