    Lumbar Support for S40

If you have the comfort pad it is doubled over and zip tied. You can cut the zip ties add lumbar support and re zip tie it shut. I did this to my pad with no issues. If it is a single layer then you could probably figure out how to zip tie or double sided tap your lumbar support to the pad.

Clothing - Jerseys - design, suppliers, customizations, etc.

The Team Moose design looks like construction worker type clothing. Not my cup of tea. I do like color block. I think the vertical reflective strips are what I don’t care for much. So, my vote is a thumbs down.

    bikist dog

How super cool! One of the best things about cycling is experiencing nature. I merely want to move through a different world when I cycle. A stress free view of the world around me. Of course, it doesn’t always happen that way but when it does...priceless.

    bikist dog

I got to pedal alongside a huge pit dog today. He was beautiful. I never felt threatened but he could have easily taken me out. I was having a nice ride and this guy was enjoying some yard time with his dad. No leash, no collar, no fence. He came jogging out but I recognized he was friendly. I...

Another suggestion is to carry a loud whistle. When you see the dogs run towards you, blow the whistle. It should startle the dogs long enough for you to peddle away. This has worked for me on, at least, one occasion that I remember. I have the whistle on a lanyard around my neck.

    Hurricane Florence passing through

Thank you for the report. How nice of you to dog sit! So glad you were able to get out a bit. Being cooped up is no fun. Enjoy the dogs. Continued prayers for those in the area.

My first Recumbent, my first week...

Yes, my knees hit the shifter also so my Q mostly sits and I ride my S30. I’ve moved the shifter all over and my knee still hits it. Thanks for the tip on the handlebar. I might give it a try.

My Bicycle Journey - from upright to bent -Part 1

Looking forward to part 2. My story is similar. Pain with an upright after a slew of attempts to fix the pain. Custom fittings etc. did not help. Worsening neck and back issues. I found Cruzbike and now can continue to ride.

    Dialing in a S30

No need for a special bottle. At least, the one I have came with a wide mouth top and a small mouth top. The drinking tube is a bite tube.

Thor seat on S30v2 vs. handlebar height

“Programming an IBM computer (anyone else speak RPG?) is my day job.” I speak IT but not necessarily RPG. I finished my career as an Information Systems Manager managing large data center installs etc. It is good to see another woman in the IT field.

    Dialing in a S30

I use the one behind my head rest and loop the drinking hose around the headrest tube. At first I used a tube in the water bottle. Then I decided to splurge for a “blue desert smart tube hydration system”. You can find it on Amazon.
