    CRASH on my new V20c

Very sorry for your loss. Labridors' are some of the most friendliest dogs. I wonder if there is some ultrasonic dog repeller one could use?

    CRASH on my new V20c

Very sorry to read that. I hope you are on the mend. I remember a few months back I had a snarling medium to large dog after me but I had a start on him and he gave up luckily

    Short crank questions answered here

I haven't taken a good look at the scientific paper that says 145 is the best power sized crank. The best way of pedalling a bike is by applying force on the downstroke but in order to get those power numbers for the 145... they must be healing the peddle stroke?

    GCN and Cruzbike

Emmm Hank looked as though he was passing a number of rear disc wheel upright bikes and he wasn't even using one. He had incredible courage. Even clipped in on his first bike trial. Amazing. And being held for a stop start. That is not easy ... I assume there weren't any up takes... I would...

My Very First Recumbent is a V20

Sorry about the tyre levers. The good thing is ... it will have difficulty in coming off so you will have traction with a puncture. I did that with my last tyre... I'm thinking of trying a gp5000 30mm next. The psi tubeless shouldn't be so high so it might hold the pressure better and might be...

    XShifter and NXSWireless

I have a stretch of road where I am determined it hit 50 kph and sustain it for a duration... the xshifter still causes turbulence even being behind the boom so it would be better to be able to hide it. I can get to 45kph with the monocote disc wheel. I have a 3d tail box project in the...

    XShifter and NXSWireless

I never got a reply from Paul so I bet he lost his shirt on the venture. He put absolutely everything into it. 20 hour days ... just to have it flop. I think its a well cool idea. I have been thinking of putting my xshifter into the boom but then there are two issues; how do you charge the...

    Psycho 48 in NC, 21-23 Oct 2023

The great thing about you Larry is that you have very good Watt to volume ratio. Less drag is such a pleasure and even more so in the wind. You were putting out great power numbers as you weren't drafting... unlike them.

    Buying a used V20 Vendetta.

The wheels are a bit naff but saying that they are ideal for a beginner as I used them too. 10y bike Maybe 2800$ worth but I wouldn't offer more. There is almost dollar to euro parity so €2800 max

    A bout of purism

Well, I have seen something that could be a half way house. Essentially the deuralleur minimises chain drag on the smallest sprocket! I could also take the long cage off and try the chain tensioner idea too. It's the ingrid rear deuralleur. (Interesting name for sure)

    A bout of purism

One of my older projects was putting some gears on a fixie. I like the aerodynamics of a fixie as the drive wheel hub size is a lot smaller than 135mm , part of the gear I bought for the project was a chain rectifier so I am thinking that this could be mounted by the chainring on the chainstay...
