The bar shown on the bike appear to me to be a bullhorn with the ends shortened and the bar inverted so that the shifters could be fit on the bend of the bar? The Deda bar could also be installed the same way. See the link to "Bullhorn and Dropbar Options". I used a Soma bullhorn in this...

I have a Park PCS 10 stand. The clamp is designed to rotate so that the rear wheel can be rotated up off the floor and fixed in place so that brake adjustment, etc. can be done.

Try the "Velcro" brand tape to replace the original. I'll bet the tape on your bike is not up to specs.

With the Silvio 1.0 I was using a 52 big ring so just put the 2 speed derailleur and new crank on and everything worked.

David, I rode a Silvio 1.0 with SRAM components with a 3x10. I changed to a SRAM double and a new 2 speed derailleur to improve chainring shifting and was very satisfied with the results. I doubt you would unhappy with the results if you changed to a double ring.

I ride with 25mm Schwalbe Pro One tires with TruckerCo Cream at a pressure of 75 psi. This is about 15 psi lower than I used a couple of years ago. A lot more comfortable ride.
