    maybe add a bag with a pocket to top of the seat. Eg brain bag Or try Lycra cover using an old leg warmer. Check the pad itself for flaw. I’ve sometimes had foreign material enter the pad and it becomes an irritant .

    Great story and ride. Thanks for sharing. Bike looks cool almost retro with those mudguards shining. what were your longest days in the saddle. re the ventisit rubbing in specific areas. Partially cover that area if practible. The ventisit is abrasive and wears out Lycra ev3ntually.

    ahh @ed72 i was not aware they had been discontinued. I have changed bearings on my training wheel g3 hub. Simple no problem . My G3c hub is oem.

    Second hand power meter. Maybe not a pedal based system. Cough garminshite. run powertap hubs indestructible and been around a long time. Should be able to pick up a 32 spoke training wheel cheap. Unless you’re running disc brakes.

    I regularly run 32 mm conti gps tubed at 50 psi by my track pump. Super comfy. On the pelso brevet but would be as nice on the silvio. Better weight distribution on the cruzbike. And congratulations.

    reckon it will hold. Test rides required frequently checking. Now that you have a dremel tool you will find 1001 uses for it. number 1002 is dentistry and illegal ;)

    stainless steel zip ties 450 lbs tensile strength. Need to file some welds but your stay is toast seemingly anyway. Fatigue. Tor power. Bummer. or fabricate new clamps and reweld/ attach. Doesn’t have to be aluminium. Or same format. Repaint section.

    yeah we have all done it. As I age I seem to be inexplicably doing doh moments more. I stand in front of the mirror till a wry smile appears as I conclude I’m lucky to be here even if the Garmin has vamoosed vanished. Permanently or otherwise.... good luck Andrew.
