I put a zip tie there instead of the clamps. The glue of the velcro has partially failed. The zip tie helps keeps the seat aligned and from slapping against the frame when I go over bumps at speed. BTW, the glue is always the issue with velcro, not the hooks and loops. -Cliff

Added white bar tape to my S30. Covered the silver bar clamps with black nail polish as suggested by rat. Going to keep the barlets on there permanently. -Cliff

I carry a 13" Macbook Pro in my scarab bag 2-3 times per week. I put some clothes under and on top of the laptop. It's a tight fit, but it works. I haven't noticed any problems with handling. And it hasn't damaged my laptop, either. -Cliff

I agree with ratz. The backwash blinds when the lamp is back and can shine on my legs and feet. I use flashing LEDs that wrap around my legs just under my knees. I think the flashing and moving LEDs do a pretty good job letting drivers know they are looking at a bike.

I replaced the straight slider with the curved slider, and replaced the stock S30 bars with Zipp Service Course 80 bars (42 mm). Yes, and in hindsight the Frogs might have been a better way to go given the not-so-walkable nature of the walkable cleats. But the ULAs work really well and my white Lakes with double-boas look and fit great.
