I think you are correct. It's got the same handlebar style, same color.

SOLD: Beloved Q45 for sale, Space Coast of Florida

This has been my go-to bike for riding around town and to the beach. The boss says I need to be riding the latest model, so out with the old, in with the new. I think this is model year 2019, which uses QR skewers, not through-axles. Gearing is 11-speed 11-40 cassette with a 38T chainring. SRAM...

Adjustable Carbon Fiber Seat on the S40

I recently wrote and posted a blog about the installation and use of the Cruzbike Adjustable CF seat on the S40. Check it out here.

    Japan magazine featuring Cruzbike V20

I love it! Curious who did the beautiful artwork. Is this a widely distributed magazine?

    oval chainring

This is my current V20 setup, the one I rode on BRAG and the 2022 Sebring Century (where I did my best time ever and set the recumbent course record). In this photo the up-pedal is approaching TDC or the point of maximum power on my forward-thrust. The blue-tape is pointing at the maximum...

New Adjustable Carbon Fiber Seat and Headrest for the Cruzbike V and S series

You could certainly drill two holes exactly where you need them and avoid having to loosen the M6 bolts. My technique is getting access to both bolts via one hole by sliding the upper section. Since I don't need to access this very frequently, this technique seems best for me.

New Adjustable Carbon Fiber Seat and Headrest for the Cruzbike V and S series

I love my Adjustable CF seat on my V20c, but in order to make an adjustment to the Perez clamp (the clamp inside the hydroform tube that holds the "old" headrest struts) you have to remove all four M6 bolts and the upper half of the backrest. Here is a solution: drill a half-inch hole in the...

Sebring 12/24 is on for 2022!

My race report is here. I did not ride the V20c because they weren't ready. I still have not done more than a brief test ride.

1001 Miglia Italia on a Cruzbike Vendetta

Great report, Tor. Congratulations on a job well done. I loved the details in the report... sent me down a rabbit hole learning about Ayrton Senna.

    Balance and Speed

Here is a photo and overlay showing the geometry of the S40, designed to be a stable yet maneuverable bike. It has more trail and more wheel flop than most bikes, but the combination with the heavy front end works well. wheelbase 1130.3 mm 44.5 inch chainstay length 476.1 mm 18.7 inch rake...

Sebring 12/24 is on for 2022!

Maria and I haven't missed one (that hasn't been canceled) in ten years. This is good news. We always have a good time there.

    Balance and Speed

Interesting discussion. Here is an article about what keeps bicycles upright. https://ezramagazine.cornell.edu/summer11/researchspotlight.html It's the distribution of mass in relation to the steering axis that keeps a rolling bicycle balanced. Having the center of mass of the front steering...

HooDoo 500: When someone says recumbents Cant Climb (short vid)

Well done Robert Volk! You did the Cruzbike tribe proud with that performance. The Hoodoo 500 course has not been so kind to recumbent riders who aren't riding a Cruzbike. It takes a great effort no matter what you are riding.

    Chainlift

I already returned the Chainlift. However, the front end of the V20, S40, and Q45 are nearly identical (V20 fork is a bit narrower), so I'm pretty sure the result would be the same. On older models of the Q series, the front end was like the T50 is today, but I would expect similar results with...

    Chainlift

Ok, I just got mine and tried it out. Photo below. Here is my report: Unfortunately this did not work for me on a V20. The device does pull and hold the chain from the top and rear of the cassette. On a standard bike, this is all you need to slip the wheel off to the rear. On our bike the...

    Amputee Cruzbike Riders?

It was my pleasure to meet Vaughn today. I've taught hundreds of people to take their first ride on a Cruzbike, but never before an amputee. Vaughn did better than 85% of the newbies that I have introduced to a Cruzbike. He's interested in an S40, but I didn't have one of those here in...

Welcome to the new spot to talk about ZWIFT

Zwift has become a very important part of many Cruzbike owners winter training, especially in this time of a pandemic. Riding a bike on an indoor trainer is notoriously dull. Zwift, with its colorful worlds and avatars, makes riding indoors really fun. It can also provide a very satisfying...
