    Frame Drilling Advice

Ratz - Nope, my Silvio 2.0 Ratz - Nope, my Silvio 2.0 frame has only one brake exit hole. Robert - it would be for power to my under-seat traffic cam that would run in a looping fashion every time time I ride. Ideally it would be connected to a battery pack that would also run my very...

    Frame Drilling Advice

I'm thinking of routing some wires and possibly my batteries into my frame, and routing wires through the boom and the frame. Do you think it is safe to drill in the location shown below? Also, can I seek advice on technique from you frequent Di2 drillers. I have a Dremel but no...

Spring is HERE!! lets see your RIDE!!

Stopped for a photo on the Stopped for a photo on the way to work this morning. I had Silvio loaded up feel how she handled with some extra weight. Changed my single behind-the-headrest bottle for a pair of cages mounted with Topeak CageMounts. This meant four full water bottles and a tent (for...

Video Under Seat with GPS Overlay

Mine is the standard lens, Mine is the standard lens, which is already quite "wide angle" so I find that sufficient with less distortion than the super wide angle lens. This particular recording was at 720p 30fps which I sped up 2x in VIRB Edit. Of course the camera can so 1080p 60fps - I...

Ha haha! I will not be able Ha haha! I will not be able to look at that saddle in the same way again. Funny it never "bothered" me maybe cos I am more recent convert from DF camps who tried various saddles (in vain) to alleviate pain in my nether regions. Now let's see what comments and...

Help with Silvio 1.0 setup please

Keep going at it and soon a Keep going at it and soon a straight line will not be a problem. I do plenty of urban riding and squeezing in between vehicles at traffic lights - and this is on a more reclined Silvio 2. I'd love to see that Bafang hub motor on your Silvio. I can't help but...

Video Under Seat with GPS Overlay

Hi Lief, I love a good deal Hi Lief, I love a good deal as much as anyone out there! But I misquoted as I got mine at $69 not $60. The price varies significantly if you are buying from a US or UK seller. There are a few fake Mobius cameras out there, so I recommend you buy from the Hong...

Video Under Seat with GPS Overlay

Eric caught the GPS error. Eric caught the GPS error. It's a GPS artifact where due to natural errors the data will show you bouncing a few meters around one location. When you are moving, this averages out and is insignificant. When stationary, the Garmin Edge has certain algorithms that read...

Help with Silvio 1.0 setup please

I don't think there is much I don't think there is much adjustment in those steering tube spacers for height adjustment. At 5' 11" your BB is prob quite low which would bring your handlebars up that much higher. Good for us to see a good side-view pic and hear more of your preferences as to how...

Hi Jim, for that headlight Hi Jim, for that headlight mounting solution... It took me a while but I like what I have now. Find two small cylinders that together fit just in between those mounting holes (above your BB, front nose of your Silvio). Could be wood painted black, or I cannibalized an...

Video Under Seat with GPS Overlay

Here's a ride report documented by my under seat camera, the Mobius ActionCam. I had thought of this mounting location but only recently attempted it after being spurred on by Rick's similar mounting in his video ()! Mine is stuck on using the inexpensive Mobius helmet mount which works...

Crud RoadRacer fenders will Crud RoadRacer fenders will be a no-go for your 28mm tyres. They fit comfortably with my 23mm's on my Silvio 2. One can hardly get clearance with a 25mm... may just slightly if I had wider rims. No way with a 28mm without rubbing.

Ratz, great stuff about the Ratz, great stuff about the rusty bolts! I learned something new! I will have to do this sometime on my Silvio -- never thought about applying nail varnish. Should have done that when new. Thanks!! So Coke Zero > Coke Light > Coke regular ? :)

    Bullhorn and Dropbar Options

I am really like this current I am really liking this current setup. This angle, where the brake levers are about 45 deg seems to be a sweet spot for me. Done about 200km so far on it. The nice thing about brifters on the bullhorns like this is a large surface to grasp and pull on the...
