    Vendetta V20 bottom bracket height

The old faithful sizing chart The old faithful sizing chart that has been around a long time appears on the S30 page, but not the V30 page. It's presence makes it sound like it is still applicable but I doubt so. Due to the change in the V30 boom there should be a wider range of adjustability...

    Bullhorn and Dropbar Options

Rode 50km commute today with Rode 50km commute today with the new bullhorns. Definitely better positioning for laying on the power than the dropbars. I was surprised at the difference that the more solid grip with straight arms made. But my arms were tired and hands were sore as my positioning...

    Those 100k bikes

Now with this data I really Now with this data I really know how much of a flatlander I am. Converting from metric to feet and miles ones, I get a mere 26 feet climbing per typical mile! Really flat... What winter?

    Bullhorn and Dropbar Options

Bullhorn Brifters Ratz, I finally did your bullhorn brifter style! After looking at all the options, the only one that could really work with my setup would be the Profile Design T2 Wing in an upside-down flipped position. Here are the bars alone: Here is my current drop bar setup...

    Bullhorn and Dropbar Options

Electronic Shifters I have no experience with electronic drivetrains, but it seems to me that when electronic shifting is integrated into the small TT style brake levers, this would be perfect for a bullhorn setup with Silvio/Vendetta. This would allow the use of almost any bullhorn bar with...

    Vendetta V20

Good question Snilard. I Good question Snilard. I never went down with my original bars. Perhaps someone else can comment. I did slide on gravel with my regular drop bars on Silvio. My brifters needed the rubber hoods replaced and scratches painted over but we're functionally still good.

    Vendetta V20

Chainstay Extensions On the new V20 and S30 there doesn't appear to be any chainstay extension options nor different sizes as when the Vendetta 2.0 was around. Thus, a short and long X-seam rider would have vastly different BB heights. It's great to have a shared boom, but is there any choice...

Anyone tried the Granfondo H20 DLX Seat Bag?

I keep recommending the I keep recommending the Revelate Designs Pika saddle bag for Silvio 2 owners who want to hold more than a regular saddlebag does. Here it is in real life. It's wrapped into it's smallest size here, holding about 6L. It expands reardward to about 11L.

    Silvio 2.0 Picture Thread

Silvio 2.0 in the wild! Silvio 2.0 in the wild! Here's a rare in-motion pic that a friend took of me while he drove past on a lazy Sunday afternoon. I'm starting off from a traffic light, so my head is off the headrest cos I'm pulling away.

460mm carbon drop bars for Vendetta/Silvio

Hey, who are you calling Hey, who are you calling skinny with no muscle?!? ;) If anyone is interested in those bars, just do ask whether the size is C-C or O-O. My vendor told me clearly that my bars were 46cm O-O and 44cm C-C. They work for skinny me!

    Vendetta V20

Jeremy, I agree that the new Jeremy, I agree that the new V20 photos are better than the old Vendetta photos - but they are still ineffective product photos. One look comparing Rick's accidental photo and my amateur enthusiast photos reveals that. Which ones grab the uninitiated Cruzbike...

    Vendetta V20

The V20 and S20 boom looks The V20 and S20 boom looks very similar to my Silvio 2.0 boom. Note the external cable routing as compared to Vendetta 2.0's internal routing. The previous writing for Vendetta made a point of good aerodynamics such as bullhorn bars, internal cabling, even bar end...

    Vendetta V20

I go away for a few days and I go away for a few days and all this pops up! I fall into the camp who prefers the yellow Vendetta 2.0 -- perhaps some of this amounts to perception, but perception is very important for your top bike model. I am stumped as to why Cruzbike makes such excellent...

    The great Silvio/Vendetta swap

I can just hear Larry I can just hear Larry grinning from ear to ear as he wrote all that out! The number of defectors is alarming! If I had someone to swap with like that it would be very tempting! Or perhaps a few years down the road with Vendetta 3.0...

    Vendetta 1.5 fenders (mudguards)

Coincidence! I just tried Coincidence! I just tried changing my 23c tyres to a set of GP4000s 25c tyres on my bike. They touch my crud RoadRacer fenders in certain places when inflated to 100psi. I took them off without playing with them further cos the clearances are really very tight. Similar...

    Going from standard to recumbent

I'm probably the one here who I'm probably the one here who rides in the heaviest traffic. Took me 4 weeks before I was comfortable commuting in my urban environment. At 4 weeks I was similar speed to my DF riding. I had transitioned from a Cervelo S2 (high end road bike) to a Silvio 2, my...

What is new on the Silvio S30

The set of improvements to The set of improvements to S30 show how closely Cruzbike listens to its avid users - a great reason to be active on this forum!! At the same time, I like that the changes are incremental and, if you are listening on these forums, not a huge surprise. Thus, an owner of...

What is new on the Silvio S30

Sounds like sensible Sounds like sensible incremental improvements to me! I think it's particularly good that (a) Cruzbike is now offering fully built bikes and (b) a "simple" thing like front light attachment point is included - cos us early adopters figured out our own solutions. I was...

    Transition from Silvio to Vendetta

Rick, put a few more of those Rick, put a few more of those well shaped rubber blocks under your seat and looks like you've given yourself some suspension on your Vendetta. As is, it looks like you've provided yourself with a tad more cushioning than the original configuration! :)
