    Haters going to hate

Here's my $0.034 (adjusted up for inflation). Most y'all don't remember the "dark ages." Back then, not only were Cruzbikes hard to ride, but there had no evidence that they were fast. And they were always hard to control on the descents. And if you bought one, that meant that two families...

    Offroad on a Cruzbike

I've never taken either my Sofrider or my conversion seriously off-road, but I've ridden a pretty crappy dirt trail. I can't disagree with anything Sam said here.

    Vendetta arrived work in progress

Lovely! And if we had only suggested a new seat to Rat Rider. (Oh wait, we did.) Regardless (and most importantly), I think the bike is now in the right hands so everything really did work out for the best. Cheers, Charles

Ride of The Valkerie: Lake Tahoe on a Vendetta V20

As cool as we often think it is to fight through decisions like this and keep going, being smart enough to listen to reason when your Adrenalin is telling you something else shows great wisdom. Well done. Charles

Tour de Moore Century (Moore County, NC)

The Bloomin' metric (100 km - 62 miles) has 4,400 feet of climbing. I've done it twice and twice it kicked my @$$ (although I finished both times). And I've been told that if you don't get 100 feet per mile, that ain't real climbing. (And I'm o.k. not doing real climbing... :D)

Front downtube hitting tire when shocks compress

No suggestions except to post pictures. Maybe we'll see something.

International shipping of your bicycle :)

I've used them happily for US Domestic shipping. They are recommended quite a bit over at BROL.

    PBP 2015

No, no, no. Two Silvios and a Vendetta ride under a bar, and the DF rider has to duck! :D

Mongoose Tactic women's mountain bike as donor?

Looking good! I agree about the quality of crappy front suspension forks. A solid fork isn't a bad idea. Your seat is quite upright. You may find it more comfortable moving the seat pan forward a bit and tilting it more. I use a layback seatpost on both of my Cruzbikes and they work well...

    Vendetta TT - SOLD

It's quite spoken... :) RR, If it's a back issue because of the MBB - using your upper body aggravates your back then there isn't too much you can do.** If your back is sore because it does not appreciate the Cruzbike seat, then there's a lot you can do. That being said, yes, you are...

    Silvio transport

BPS (bike protection services) has decided that Larry is no longer a suitable guardian for that Vendetta. Larry, please box it up forthwith and send it to: Charles Plager 24..... ...................... :D

Definitely talk to Rick about his seat.

    Starting and stopping

So first, let me start by saying if you don't want to clip in, then don't. :) I never clipped in before my Cruzbikes. I grew up using toe clips and was happy with those. Toeclips aren't nearly as useful on a SWB 'bent, however. So why clip in on a Cruzbike? Comfort and control. Comfort...

Cycle North Carolina Sept 26 - Oct 3

Huh. If only Cruzbike made a bike that fit in a single suitcase... (And before you complain that a Quest would slow you down, I don't think putting on square wheels would slow you down enough...)

    Efneo Gearbox

I don't see any reason out shouldn't work. Similar things have been used on conversion kits successfully.

    Upgrading models to Sofrider V2

I've got 100 PSI Kojaks on mine and it rolls quite nicely. :D
