Small pins in the side of the crank/chain rings to help catch the chain as the derailleur is shoving the chain over to go from one crank ring to the next. The pins and ramps help the chain climb onto the next ring:

Seems like I recall Dan Fallon or maybe somebody else mention they found a stretch along their route with powerlines or something that induced spikes in some of their HR readings. I don't know if external interference is even feasible or if it was their HR actually spiking.

I was looking at this again and was struck with how the vertical upright section would be an interesting area to experiment with mounting various doo-dads - lights, bag, bottels, etc. Particularly with a quick release design. -Eric

I wonder if the TTrike attachment would provide enough additionality stability to expand your riding options. One of the reasons I bought my velo was to both extend my riding season and to allow me to ride while dealing with carpal tunnel problems and recovering from carpal tunnel and trigger...

I like the decals. I went through Aircraft Mishap school in California with an A-10 driver. Forget his name, this was back in 90 or maybe 91. He was a really funny guy. A-10s are cool. If you follow Larry's crashing examples too much though you'll need some armor. :eek: -Eric

For an iPhone or iPad, press and hold on a word to select it. Drag one of the selection handles to control changing what is selected. Xenforo should also display a small, gray reply "button". Tap that reply button and it will copy the selected text into a new post edit window and you continue...
