    LOL My day job

Hmmm, I used to average 250,000 emails per day back around 2005 or so with probably 95% spam. Volumes went way down after we had MessageLabs on the front end which later changed to our own stuff called AT&T SEG. Most of my data storage goes on HDS SUS but I've got some fully populated MSA70s...

    those darn laws.....

Excerpt from Ray's review: Right now the battery life isn’t terribly awesome on the Jet however. It’s one of the areas they saying they’re focused on over the next few months. At the moment getting more than a couple hours hasn’t seemed to happen for me. They’re aiming to get it up to about...

    UMCA Across Washington N to S - 2015

Good luck Lief, rooting for you. Be careful out there. I generally use Cyclemeter. You can configure update intervals and with the Facebook integration people can post comments while you are riding and Cyclemeter will read them to you while you are riding. Ride With GPS can also be configured...

Possible to mod for gates carbon drive and internal hub?

See http://cruzbike.com/forum/threads/gates-carbon-drive-geared-hub.4640/ which used to have some good CAD drawings that seemed to have disappeared with the forum migrations - unles I've grabbed the wrong link. The eccentric BB was also brought up in this same thread.

    First Vendetta Ride WooHoo!

I have short wide feet and absolutely love my Nashbar Ragster II clipless bike sandals. They are very comfy to walk in too. http://www.nashbar.com/bikes/Product_10053_10052_169948_-1

    Power meter for Vendetta

Larry is using Q-rings isn't he? Is that the secret to his superhuman power levels? :) Or are the rest of us just low powered slobs?

    Bike Parking at the office

For a little while I was only about 7.5 miles from work and commuted with my Mobiky quite frequently. I got to the point I could pass many of the slower DF riders. I haven't ridden it in several years now. At the moment it is sitting inside it's carry/storage bag in my basement getting dusty.

Do It Yourself (DIY) cover for Non-Drive wheel

The wheel covers on my velomobile are a semi-stretchy fabric, not sure what type of fabric. There is a very small fiberglass rod in a sleeve at the outer edge that fits into clips attached to the spokes. My velo wheels are all single sided axles. The front wheels only have covers on the...

    Bike Parking at the office

That is my Mobiky and the middle shot of it folded is right next to my chair in my office. I had to edit the post to remove the extra photos. Apparently I clicked the wrong button...

    Bike Parking at the office

Just barely fits through the entrance... Or down the stairs and folded right next to my desk... For the curious, here is the Mobiky unfolded. This is a 3-spd IGH with a disc brake on the front and drum/strap or something or other on the rear. I've regularly done 17 mile rides on it until I...

    Drivetrain suggestions?

I have 170mm cranks on my Vendetta and 155mm cranks (I think) on my velomobile and the loaner Quest had 155mm cranks of course . So far I'm most comfortable with the the Vendetta for whatever reason. Personally I think the greater recline tends to make the longer cranks on the Vendetta work...

    First Official Century

Impressive ride Rick. Elevation profile and Google street view snooping along part of your course looked interesting. Looked kinda of like a lot of pretty flat combine with that Pass Road hike. How was that part? It is snowing today.... The more I look at your pictures the more I keep...
