Vendetta V1.5 for sale in Ontario

What does "too fast" mean? Is it so efficient that you are not getting enough exercise, or do you prefer something with suspension and/or fatter tires for rough surfaces in your cycling area? As a vendetta 1.5 owner, I can honestly say that whoever gets this deal will enjoy it if they enjoy...

I know it's an old thread, but the fork airbag looks like it might be flat. Anyone know if it sold? Seems an optimistic price.

    Direct drive recumbent.

7kg for the front wheel seems huge, but think about it like this: in addition to the normal function as a wheel, hub and tire, the big front wheel replaces the following: - bottom bracket (2-300gm?) -chain (500gm?) -derailleurs (front and rear) (200gm) - bottom - one shifter (since only one...

UK: Vendetta for sale on ebay

black bolt on seat like mine, i think that is a v1.5, which had slightly steeper steering angle and small change to trail and wheelbase compare to v1.0. v2.0 were steeper again and again slight mod to trail and wheelbase for better handling. very much enjoying my 1.5, a buyer could do very well...

    Velcro Only?

if there is so little torsion being transmitted in the frame tube, there may be scope for weight and width reductions, at least of the section above the seatstay to main tube junction, should there ever be any retooling and/or a cf frame happens one day.

    Twist shifters?

one good thing about brifters is the extra hand position they give out on the hoods. whrn i started riding the v i did use that posi occasionally to give a bit of forward crunch on steep grades. but not now that i'm used to the v laidback position. i guess twisters could give the option for an...

    Sizing conundrum

if you want maximum aero, go large. but your feet will be higher (good for aero, maybe slightly less convenient in stop start city riding when your feey have to touch down more often). I am 183 cm and have a medium v1.5. Would be interested to try a large but the medium is very comfortable.

    Vendetta seat?

My Vendetta 1.5 has an aluminium seat. I was really sore at the top of my sacrum after a 40km time trial attempt the other day, and noticed that there is a bulging weld line which may have been the trouble. I've slipped a strip of closed cell foam and small rectangle of 3cm thick open cell foam...

1st century - longest ride ever

@BentAero: takeaway indian food= 1 palak paneer, 1 mango saffron chicken, rice, peshwari naan, samosas. yum. Thankfully it stayed in place on the 2 km home, I had visions of the lot falling into the back wheel and getting vendetta blended...

1st century - longest ride ever

the simplest way i found to carry stuff on my vendetta is to run a 25cm loop of bungee through a hole in the top of the headrest cover, around the tubing. the other end hooks to a rear light bracket screwed through the centre edge of the seat. cargo eg rolled up jacket, bag of stuff, even some...

Boom sock - work in progress

sure, but a tailbox is a bigger project (and will weigh more and make the bike take up more space in our garage. It can still be done after this project. And if this project improves aero by a repeatably measurable amount, it's cheap and easy gains, and I can sew up a few repeats to post to...
