    Silvio 2.0 with Panniers

A possible solution to keep A possible solution to keep panniers from swinging into the wheels could be to tie some lengths of string from the seat stay up to the seat. The panniers would hit these strings instead of continuing in to the wheels. Light, cheap, and probably very quick to...

    Silvio 2.0 with Panniers

They look good.  The first They look good. The first times you ride with them in the rain put all your electronics in Ziploc plastic bags or Tupperware or anything waterproof. Investigate how the bags keep out moisture. Beyond that, they sound like they are good to go on some light touring!

    Anyone tried to 150mm extension?

I'm curious to see what the riding position with a 150mm chainstay extension looks like. Obviously it's based on rider x-seam but I'd still like to hear any reports from those who have tried it. It would be helpful to know your height and x-seam, too.

At last, the first ride on my Silvio 2.0

I use Shimano's SPD-SL road I use Shimano's SPD-SL road pedals. These work GREAT on the Quest because when I am not clipped in they sit a an easy angle to clip in to.

    Carrying a lock?

I think the first setup looks I think the first setup looks more elegant, possibly leads to less drag, and, like you said, even if it shifts it will just lead to some rub. Based on your first photos, in the first position it can't reach the chainstay. Although I don't know how much Silvio...

    Cruzbike/MBB theory vindicated (anecdotal evidence)

I think a lot of the reason I think a lot of the reason your power output goes up when your hands are on the bar has to do with control. With no-hands riding you must pedal and steer. This limits your ability, or at least makes it very hard to, put out high power through higher torques...

    Push or Pull?

I pull by default but like to I pull by default but like to push with both arms every once in a while for two reasons. It uses different muscles letting others rest and it makes me aware of how much power I am losing by not pedaling circles. When I get lazy or inattentive the leg that is not...

    Di2 on Silvio 2

The Brain Box should reduce The Brain Box should reduce your aerodynamic drag. The void behind our shoulders and head are responsible for a significant portion of the overall. Filling it, as you have done with the Brain Box, is a great step towards going faster.

    Personal record on a 100K

Eric, good plan.  Of course, Eric, good plan. Of course, their is an optimal way to distribute your power output. That optimal way definitely skews towards higher output on the ascents, baseline on the flats, and a bit easy on the descents. How much you should skew depends on the length of...

    Di2 on Silvio 2

I don't believe the Di2 I don't believe the Di2 system has any feedback as far as trim adjustment goes. I think it is programmed to trim assuming a standard chainstay length. Hopefully trim is customizable using their software but if not then there might be an issue of he FD attempting to...
