chain jumping from small ring to large ring all by itself while climbing up hill

Another driving force for Another driving force for upshifts is a crossed chain. If you are in the small chainring and smallest (or small) cog then your chain could be crossed to the point that it almost rubs the large chainring. Maybe hitting a bump or something caused the chain to grab the...

A small part of me dies every A small part of me dies every time I see a nice bike relegated to the sidelines only to be used for entertainment/weekend rides! Reduced to a mere toy! And a Silvio is among the nicest bikes. Use the crap out of it. Treat it well, but use the crap out of it.

    Loaded Silvio 2.0

I'd like to see how Silvio 2.0 owners have dealt with carrying capacity. I am interested in the 2.0 and I would use it as my everything vehicle. It needs to be able to carry a load. Please post pictures if you can. Seeing different setups helps my imagination :)

How big of a learning curve did the Vendetta take for you to get use to it??

+1 to Jeremy's post. In a +1 to Jeremy's post. In a perfect world I would be able to get a disc brake front wheel and a rim brake rear wheel. This puts braking performance where it's needed and saves a bit of weight and cost in the back.

your feet do move quite your feet do move quite fast. Every time you pedal forward that foot is going even faster than the rest of the bike (excluding the tops of the tires) and your leading foot is the first thing that meets the oncoming air. I'm curious how he made a shoe/pedal fairing, though.

    Silvio 2.0 Build Questions

Two things of note: 1) I Two things of note: 1) I wouldn't recommend water on the boom. This not only adds more weight to the steering body but it is loose, fluid weight. When your quickly changing the wheel direction during tricky maneuvers the dynamics of the water in the water bottle...

    Greater Fork Rake/Trail = Stability

It is hopeful to think that It is hopeful to think that there exists an accurate dynamic model of the biker-rider system. However, it doesn't exist. The system is simply too complicated. There are decent models of two-wheeled inline vehicles alone without a rider. Adding suspension gets...
