    Bacchetta CA3 for Sale

Bob you should hang onto the Bacchetta. It has some advantages over the vendetta like it’s a great bike too. One can never have too many recumbent options. I’m sure you will enjoy riding it sometimes. Shame to lose so much by selling. I think of the vendetta as a sports car and pelso as a gt...

Impressions After 200 miles on a Vendetta

Ultimately I reckon comfort has more to do with tyre pressure and sidewall suppleness than actual frame materials . Of course frame design is most important and here the vendetta is brilliantly not a stick. Making the vendetta in carbon fibre would not result in much improved ride from an...

Who is using Shimano road brifters and Shimano MTB derailleur?

I’m at five bents and five df style bikes. Including a fat bike a tandem two trikes etc. I ride 16 k to 22 k a year so they all get used. Cruzbike more so but lately it’s been pelso and challenge and gto. And fat bike. I have too many true. I’m spoilt and very lucky. Alpha 7 dreaming.

Who is using Shimano road brifters and Shimano MTB derailleur?

I see front mech adjustment especially on non standard rings eg 60 tooth hurricane as a nice challenge. Only on off camber extreme rough roads might the chain do a runner but never with a type 2 clutched rear mech.

Who is using Shimano road brifters and Shimano MTB derailleur?

Exactly right gears are gears. Gravel groupsets give it a break. Lol. Sram 1 x systems now tie you into a capreo style hub with 10 tooth ring. Gx eagle etc. no thanks.

    Getting Off the Fence

Hi Bill I’ve got the clear aero xlab and they launch very well. Question are your black bidons screw top as mine are pop offs and a real pain to open rip nails off. . Great solution too. Velcro is on order.

    S40 as touring bike

So buy both n+1 right. The vendetta is a very fast recumbent. I love mine. Can’t you half tell. Lol. I guess you must make a forthright list of requirements and needs and decide objectively. Then change your mind several times before purchasing a great bike. Good luck and keep peddling smart.

    S40 as touring bike

Hi Rods welcome back I reckon your individual skill and personal bike set up will dictate what your low speed loaded controlled climbing speed is..on any two wheeler including the s40. I think the cruzbike is as potentially stable as any other recumbent with two wheels . I can directly...

Who is using Shimano road brifters and Shimano MTB derailleur?

I use sram mechanical on most of my bents it’s all compatibility with road and mountain but sadly only up to ten speed. Eg sram red 10 speed brifters with sram xo rear long cage type 2 rear mech vendetta I can fit an 11-40 ten speed praxis works cassette with a little b screw action. That’s...
