Looking to buy a Vendetta V20 in Europe

First one is a v1. Aluminium pan seat. Original vendetta. Red one is first v20 and a better handling finish and design more adjustable machine. You size the chainstay to fit your leg length . All hydroformed mainframes are same size. Great bike. Good for sealed audax.

Your Opinion Of The Ventist Seat Pad

Summer on a hard shell seat it’s a ventisit thin pad with vendetta oem seat. It’s abrasive to Lycra more so than oem pad. The ventisit also eventually shapes too after 50 thousand klm however the pad is otherwise like new. I’ve also made my own from ac 10 material. It’s easy to keep clean under...

    Q45 at 1000km, +/- some parts

Very very favourably fitted on a challenge hurricane. I did a review on this forum. It’s titled “ cheapish rear shock comparison “ compared 165mm cheap shocks a dnm DVD 22 coil over and the kind shock rr1 and the dnm aoy 38 rc. In a nutshell the air dnm is not as light as the kind shock is a...

10 speed compact double on S-40

An added bonus is 11 speed is lighter lol. ;) Rant time.ugly follows.... It’s only the plates that make the external width wider with internal same across range. Exception single speed and lower than 7 gears I think.....need to check. Point being original cassette should not have wobbled...

Recent Trade-in ONLY 10 MILES ON BIKE Ready for a New Home

Couple people have fitted the v20 front end to V2 mainframe. David ch for example. The v20 front end is a big leap in adjustability fitment practicality and ease of manufacture. Also add longevity to the mix. Sure it’s not chrome or polished aluminium and painted yella. And those swords are...

Recent Trade-in ONLY 10 MILES ON BIKE Ready for a New Home

I would think this bike is optimised for shorter riders. At six two you will need a larger chain stay and maybe new boom slider arrangement. I truly hope I’m wrong. My V2 has large chainstay and I’m 6ft one. Probably better off with 19.5 rather than large in my case as my boom is nearly...

storing and eating/drinkin for long rides (100+ miles) on Silvio or Vendetta

In Australia Gatorade is regarded by audax fraternity as having way too much sugar .like most of the ready made so called electrolyte replacement drinks in the take away fridge. I personally Use sis or hammer products. They are now becoming available in supermarket and are much less sweet and...

    Paris-Brest-Paris 2019 video

Schlitter with jbar. Incredible efforts riding over 1200 klm can never be understated. That speeding fine in the velo will be in a frame already I reckon. I’d love to do pbp one day. Watching these vids will have to do for now and they are truly inspiring.

    Heart rate monitors?

Osiris I use heart rate and power metrics. After baselines become familiar I can avoid dehydration’s worst experiences by monitoring those two metrics on hotter long days on the bike.

S40 weight disadvantage on hill climb in wind speed equivalent

When you’re gasping for air tendons straining and staying in front remember the suffering is really only in your head Lol. Your head space can have a much bigger impact than four kg. Power of the mind is worth 30 watts. Belief system. Sure there is some weight penalty and the gcn guys have...

storing and eating/drinkin for long rides (100+ miles) on Silvio or Vendetta

Here you go Jack. I used the four plastic clamps supplied by cruzbike that fit over headrest tubing to affix bracket. For extra stability the bag top loop can be attached to top neckrest and bottom straps wrapped around under headrest bottom rails as it exits frame. I drove at 120 klm per...

storing and eating/drinkin for long rides (100+ miles) on Silvio or Vendetta

I have the radical design bag. Yes it’s a quality product with ykk metal zip external pocket for bidon and reinforced base..... but is simply not as good a design as brain box with its bladder space Velcro pocket etc. plus cheaper. I’ll take a picture of bracket.

storing and eating/drinkin for long rides (100+ miles) on Silvio or Vendetta

Go to page 2 for a pic. Aluminium flat bar frame very light and looks good. I reckon. Aero and great for long fast rides.
