    The flop

Any broken bone is bad. My friend had the broken pelvis... I would have had it pinned. Don't think I could have stuck it out in a chair for a month

    The flop

You just have to wear a bandage and there will be someone around the corner that will give you a nightmare story. Say how about that one where I was going down a downhill at 60kph and I fell I had to spend a month in the same seat for a month for the pelvis to mend without moving. Sounds like...

    Bag solutions for Vendetta V20?

Hey ... Great bike Peter. Even got your name on it! Nice touch. I noticed you put a bag stop bolt on the rear rim brake mount. Sort of thing I would do.

    The flop

Well... I heal quickly and I am already thinking on jumping on the bike tomorrow. Madness for sure. I can't believe how much I change each day. My right hand after the accident swelled up so much that I couldn't even clench my fist. Elbow was still juicy a couple of days ago. Rib was a pain...

I'm interested in nutrition for cycling. To get good power ... you indeed need to monitor your glucose levels. Half the peleton are taking the maurten hydro gel as it allows you to consume 2x carbs per hour without feeling nauseated.

I went for the sram rival crankset. I got them cut down to 155mm. I have the spin but not the punch. But at 60kph , you will not see me spinning at 100 rpm. Sorry about that. Its called life preservation. The knees are happy

Yes, it is! (was: Or maybe not (was: My Vendetta is a survivor (was: My Vendetta V1.0 is dying)))

Hey @Tor Hovland , I watched your 1000km brevet the other day on strava ... stunning beauty and only 19c. Not sure what part of the year that was? In Spain it's ridiculously hot. I just bought an EV that fits the Vendetta so when I have repaired myself I can go on longer trips.

You might want to swap out your front brake for this... I used it for years with no trouble but I had it on good authority that disc brake front is better aero. Personally there is not much in it

Saving watts due to cda and power is a tradeoff with the horizontal boom setup. You might want to experience it more at an angle... you can offset the adjustment by putting the cleats more centred on the shoe by some adaptor plates.

Curious... didn't see the FD cable... did you run it inside the boom? FD didn't look wireless. Looks fast. You will have some fun with that

aerojacket cover on my Vendetta :)

There is a big difference what the pros use and what most of the tribe uses. A look alike disc wheel I guess is like 75% as good as the real thing. I never have seen a study but I approximate. Bolt thru axles instead of quick release skewers would probably be 7watts and 5000 dollars for a new...

    The flop

I even put holes in my right glove on the 4th & 5th knuckle. Perhaps I buy reinforced cycling mits from somewhere. It's the 5th day and tonight my right hand isn't so swollen and no pins and needles. Right knee doesn't need to be covered but elbow still a bit juicy. Perhaps I buy a sleeved...

    The flop

I think I tolerate pain quite well but if you watch froomie in the tour... he goes out and rides the next day... I could say a total nutter and as tough as old boots. I read somewhere that a way of reducing the amount of punctures is by putting a waist belt (without the buckle) between the tyre...

    The flop

Falling off a DF on a recovery ride is worse than falling off the vendetta at race speed. I have done both. Pretty sure I cracked a rib as I can't laugh. 3rd day with a juicy elbow and a swollen right hand. So how could I avoid it? I had a tubeless front that sort of flatted but gave out when...

    New build: S40 2020

52 is overkill surely? Couldn't you get off and walk faster? Probably good if you were touring with lots of weird bags and a tent. That 10t must be something for sure Never tried a 52t so sorry for my derogatory statement

    The last mile

I realise that I value that wahoo elemnt so much that I am debating buying a packet of apple Air tags, they might be thin enough that I can stick an air tag on the back. Having the elemnt on the bike again probably would stop me as I generally like my heart rate to be lower than 170 bpm.

    The last mile

Beware though... you need to use it with a hydration tube bite grip. Instead of wearing an over the top TT helmet mid summer, you can use it with a very light well ventilated helmet. Just a little bit larger helps the air flow.
