V2 vs V20 - what are the differences?

The V20 chainstay is bolted more firmly onto the BB allowing stiffer strength in the front triangle allowing more efficiency in the drivechain. Hope that helps in your decision.

V2 vs V20 - what are the differences?

It can be done... is it worth it? It makes the bike more multi configurable. The old V2 ... you had to become quite ingenious to max the aero configuration. The great thing about the old v2. Was its chrome boom and decals. You could also hide the cables better. To give respect to my bike...

V2 vs V20 - what are the differences?

It's weird but I confirm that too. I have not however done like for like. I had shimano 165 cranks on with a rotor 54t oval chainring that looked more like a log splitter. However, my knees ached for days after riding. A lot of my PBs were set when I was at race weight 72kg... I have never been...

    12/13 speed systems aero

A bit of fog but not much. It does not rattle against the helmet either and I don't get sandblasted eyes. By far the best visor yet. Could be more of a problem in colder climates due to more foginess. @RojoRacing might have some miracle cure.

Tri shorts vs. “Regular” vs. Bib vs. Recumbent specific

Pictures speak 1000 words... just ordered this for vendetta training and wing foil... trisuits are good as the padding hides the junk but minimises the weight in sweat. 30bucks isn't going to break the bank and good for 2 seasons in the sun and resting on that ventisit seat pad.

    Music That Makes You Go!

Apparently if you are going for koms think of very upbeat music that you would hear in a gym. Personally I prefer softer music to keep my adrenalin levels down. Oddly enough it has been proven if you are a downhill mountain biker going through technicals that if you listen to music and forget...

    12/13 speed systems aero

OK been out for a ride. I don't think the ton of molten speedwax helped with the chain issue... let's see if it settles. Today was the best run ever but I can't give you the stats as my bolt has bolted... can't find the thing... searched high and low. Will start deep search mode today. I had to...

Chain shortening definitely works. Problem now is not with the 9th sprocket but the 5th. So shortened it even more. The wind is blowing really hard so testing in 2 days time

    12/13 speed systems aero

The three screws... making a cassette one piece. I took them out as I couldn't thread the cassette onto the hub. Not a clever idea. The last 4 sprockets are a one piece block , minutely accurate. The other sprockets not so hot and made out of something light so giving it welly on the cranks...

    12/13 speed systems aero

Interesting concept. The hub cap I have has extended the fork by 1.5mm ... might have something to do with it. The engineering has to be so precise! The weirdest thing is, it only happens when putting power into the cranks. Just works fine when rotating the cranks by hand.

    12/13 speed systems aero

We are getting there. So as it is now I am out and about. 12th sprocket to 9... fantastic. The others not so good. Chain seems to slip. Might be an idea to tighten up the chain and see if that does the trick. I can't see where it's slipping though. Is it on the pulleys or is it on the actual...

Definetely a coffee read... updating the motor

Update time: it's getting hot. 35c expected tomorrow. The flowers are drying and dieing. It's brought a wave of little aphids that wiz up your clean nostrils... so probably have to wear a mask for protection. So there seems to be a lot of choice on the market. Anyone been there and done it? I...
