    12/13 speed systems aero

Oh I do like it. Every day is special. I say everyday is my birthday but I have given up cake for something better. Drool Now I just need some rain so that I can start the 12/13 speed rebuild. The crunch will be if the cassette fits on the hub so that will be the first thing for me to try.

    Vosadrian's V20 Journey - Australia

Don't want to hijack the thread but I thought higher spoke count added to stiffer wheel. If the rear is going to end up covered disc... does a lighter spoke count really matter? The bike weighs quite a bit so it's not as though you need to save ounces? Its just one of my other projects is...

Tempting... just for the experience and as its in Amsterdam... no friggin massive hills. I am sure they are quite clever and invent some sort of venturi wind tunnel you will have to cycle through. I will have to investigate

    12/13 speed systems aero

Well Well Well What's brewing in the pot? I bought and received 2 sram flat topped 12 speed chains. I can tell you now ... that chain is a win win chicken dinner. Its so slippery its like an eel and even more so its aero. Stone have produced an aero 12 speed chainring that fits in place of...

Just use one foot first and use the other foot as a balance. Something tells me you are already an experienced rider. Great...

Why have 12speed when you can have 13?

OK... I noticed a trend coming out of China that they are producing one piece , high quality cmc machined 12 speed cassettes that are shimano hyper glide compatible ... so it's not too difficult to imagine a 13th 42t sprocket sitting at the end of it. Why have 12 speed when you can have 13...

    Vendetta off the trainer

When ever you get one remember ... take chain off smaller chainring, derailleur facing you, glove under right knee... and it should be easy. Changing tubeless tires was the easiest with :- just install it for a few days with an inner tube and then do the inner tube removal and sealant replace...

    Into thy hands

So... I find spinning fast created too much body movement so I feel less inclined to go faster than 50kph. So after a bike fit a couple of years ago... the fitter said... you need to find a specialist to see what's up as the pressure on the saddle and the power on the pedals was considerably...
