I have a rotor elliptical chainring 54t. It's a beautiful daisy cutter... the trouble is... I go mega fast but the knees get knackered quickly. Its also shimano crank compatible. At the moment I am running sram rival 155 and the knees don't ache. If I want the speed... then shimano 165 cranks...

A little mixed here. Every year or nearly every other year the Pro peloton run the gauntlet of the streets. Recumbent bikes are for the odd. The macho racers have to behave like the rams that are blissful fast thrshing the KOMs. Sure you get a lot of conversation ... it also generates fear...

Hey... just the thing. This aero helmet covers the ears so you don't get 30db of rushing air when you hit 50kph. I can sneak some aftershokz headphones underneath and the visor keeps away the dust and the bugs. Bit hot so I might make the holes a bit bigger. It scares away the dogs too

You will. Just don't rush at it. I personally prefer flared bars but there other speed record holders that prefer extremely outrageous narrow bars. Depends if you want to set records LOL

That aero helmet is huge. 2nd time out I used a halo sweat headband catcher under the mask and it blocked the air from whipping under the visor. The visor reaches the tip of my nose.
