Great job Hardy - that was a tough one for sure. You know the Pros have a lot easier time of it! - They only have to spend about 45 min climbing - so the pain is over much quicker - for us -> it seems to never end!
Hi Everyone!
This has been a great challege for the summer and I wanted to first thank Ken for suggesting it. I certainly needed a ittle motivation to get back to riding again (after 8 months) and this has certainly helped. I hope you all feel the same way. I applaud all of you for the rides...
Great job Derek - you killed it and beat me by 2:45
I had the same question when I first started these climbs.
I figured out what Zwift was doing. They appear to be averaging your wattage when first start riding when they drop you into the course. It is odd - if you look at the descrition of...
Interesting product - and it looks like it works well. You would probably like Molten Speed Wax even better. https://moltenspeedwax.com/
When you dip the entire chain into a pot of hot wax it adhears to it better than spraying something on the surface.
TIm, I see Ratz answered most of you questions.
If you are near me, I have assembled the largest kown collection of Cruzbikes - I call it the Cruzeum. I have all older versions of the "Q, or Quest" family and most can be ridden. Cruzbike also just made me a dealer, and now I have all of the 4...

Unfortunately this is still one I am looking for - but hopefully one will turn up for me.
The only think I had on the calendar this year was to do Natchez 444 as a 2-man team with Cliff - therefore "time to get back in shape"! :)
I doubt I would ever do Borrego - it is just so far away - but I've learned never to say never. :)
I re-rode Col De Pike - this morning. It was hard of course
I improved 46 seconds to 12:20

I had my goal set to get close to Derek, but he still has me by a full minute!
Yes, the Dolphin Box is huge - plus you can't get into it while riding
I finally resorted into making some of my own: This one each side has a flap that opens - I can carry 2 1-liter bottles in each side if I want.
I rode Tourmalet yesterday and just about killed myself: https://www.strava.com/activities/9481440443
I have done all 8 climbs now! I did the last 4 "long" ones every other day = 8 days
Tourmalet was a horribly long 89 minutes for me and I'm still feeling it today -
First issue is I had just...
