CYCLIQ Fly 6 Rear LED Light & HD Camera

I mounted mine near the axle on one of the fender bolt holes. Works great there.

    Bent Large Chainring!

I've bent a chainring before, just from heavy climbing. Sometimes it happens. I'd consider it a trophy of awesomeness :) (It is possible it has been bent since your fall and the way you had everything adjusted, you just didn't notice. The shop may still be right in telling you that it is bent).

    Grabbed the GoPro and...

Bruce-- I have two of the plastic mounts on my GoPro mount, tensioned about as high as I reasonably can. When I lean the bike up against something, often the side of the camera case hits before anything else, but this just moves one of the mounts at the pivot for that mount, and thus ends up...

    Silvio front-chainstay aero mods?

When I'm commuting to work, there is a stretch here I consistently go 27 for a particular stretch on the way into work, but 22-23 on the way home from work in that location. There is a 1% or less than 1% grade, but the headwinds are really the big deal that slows you down. @MrSteve How does a...

    Silvio front-chainstay aero mods?

Just curious if anyone has thought about or attempted front-chainstay aeromods for the Silvio? The flat carboyoke is about the worst aero profile one could have... If I had time to play with it (playing with other things, like trike stuff), I'd probably attempt to improve the aero there. On...

Adding crazy tilt assembly... but to which frame?

Martinius-- I've considered using some kind of other material for the cam as well, and may try it, but suspect that it would either break quickly, or would cause resistance to tilting at any tilt angle, which would be undesirable.

Adding crazy tilt assembly... but to which frame?

Martinus-- Thanks! It is a fun project to do, and even more fun to ride! Preface: I'm not a structural engineer, and may have made mistakes. If you are a structural engineer, feel free to point out any mistakes! The basic reason it is failing right now, as far as I understand it, is that there...

Adding crazy tilt assembly... but to which frame?

Surely it won't take that long to finish! :)

Adding crazy tilt assembly... but to which frame?

So, the other 700c wheel came in, so I now have pictures of the bike with all 700c wheels. I've also been riding it around (yes, even with the self-destructing cam) for short distances. Oh My Gosh. It is amazing at slow speeds. I can almost trackstand with it! I can do the 90-degree 8-foot...

    Electric Quest

Very nice! If you can fit a Silvio and 700c wheels in a Co-Motion travel case, you can probably fit 26" wheels and the quest as well. Worth a shot if you can bring it over to a place that has one locally and just try it out...

    New V20 build input

As a data point w.r.t. climbing gears, I did the whole east coast with a lowest gear of 50 (front) ->36 (rear) on a Silvio. I found that (much) higher gearing than you expect is what you want. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that the 34 inner chainring is too small. When I get a chance, I'll...

Adding crazy tilt assembly... but to which frame?

Jond-- did you actually get updates about the Trikke or TTrike? If so, then when I signed up, I probably made some error and didn't :P :)

Recumbent bicycle run Paris - Brest 2015

And apparently, the PBP has been done with one of those before, at least I seem to remember reading that last time I looked at one of these. I also remember seeing a sprint demonstration from one of these (vs a fast bent, though I don't recall which). Needless to say, the rowing bike won...
