    How many KOM's?

https://www.strava.com/activities/352116501 It would appear that seven is the answer, nice training ride, things are shaping up nicely for PBP in a few weeks.

The "Learning to ride a Vendetta" diary

Nice going, a few more days and then go clipless?

    My Vendetta adventure

My front mech is looped around the BB via the piece of jagwire that came with the bike and tensioned via the barrel tensioner that sits just above the headset. And I cannot emphasis enough what Ratz says about car park drills. They really do work and had me on the road after about 2-2.5hrs of...

The "Learning to ride a Vendetta" diary

It looks from the video that you are looking at your feet as you ride along? If you are then try and focus ahead onto the horzon instead. Also you may find easier pulling away in a higher gear as I've come to find. A higher gear means a larger spread of power through the pedal stroke rather...

    Tannus Solid Tires

I think if I was going on a long tour around the back and beyond I'd consider these tyres as a viable option for sure. But right now the commute bike is fitted with Durano +'s which do the job they are meant to do. And having just swapped out the D+'s for Schwable One tyres on the V20 the bike...

    New product thoughts

The NorBack bag I found can go under the slider bar as well as the frame. As long as there is enough room between the handlebar and headset it will fit. Also Jackroo are the suppliers of the Vite team jerseys, I've bought two of these. The cut is nice, the backs/sides are vented and the front...

    Vendetta finally tested

@snilard http://cruzbike.com/forum/threads/v20-framekit-questions.8360/#post-31030 Here you go, I had the same question with my build. Post number 3 has the link you are looking for.

UK: Vendetta for sale on ebay

That's Kevin of DTek recumbents. A good guy, knows his stuff when it comes to recumbents and is real easy to talk when it comes to asking questions about what you want from a 'bent. A lot of people over here in the UK looking for a second hand recumbent, or those looking to dip their feet in...

Introducing the Cruzbike Underseat Scarab Bag

When will these ship? Or rather are they ready to ship?

Need input for possible new Cruzbike product

On the face of it the price of $600 I think is fair when comparing this to other tail boxes made by other companies., M5 etc. However:- The tailbox does not look very big and I can see the volume being reduced by the two water bottles. I'd be unsure about bolting the box to the seat tubes...

    Climbing and Sprinting technical talk

An interesting OP and I fully agree with the last sentence. This is my take on the whole MBB thing, in explaining it I'll at the same time also rebut some of the things that I've seen said about climbing on a MBB or fixed RWD. All imo, and anecdotal from my own experiences riding a RWD bents...

    Don't Snicker at a Vendetta

I'm still amazed at DF rider's ignorance of recumbents and how fast they actually are. Yes, you can have a frame built with the latest and greatest in Carbon Fibre, a geometry that's really 'aggressive' and will 'send every watt you produce to the rear wheel'. But you cannot change the drag...

    Vendetta vs others

Never owned any carbon bents, only a Metabike Metaphysic and Optima Low Baron. Plus points of my V20 over the above is the delivery of power to the drivetrain and engaging your upper body when you do so - it really does make a difference and makes rolling roads an absolute blast. A few weeks...

Did I buy the right bike? I think so. Help me make sure

Hi Nice bike and velo, keep getting the miles in and practise slow figure of eights at the local car park when it's quiet and your handling will come on in leaps and bounds. Regarding your other questions:- An accessory mount bought from Terracycles or the like can bolt straight onto the...

    V20 full build ordered

That sounds grand, with hindsight I should have gone with SRAM Force but instead went with Ultegra. Enjoy your new ride, and even better that you are used to the MBB config.

jon's v2 the second last yella story

    1. No idea 2. Mo, short for Charles Mochet who built the recumbent which Faure broke the hour record on.

    Previous Bicycles before a Cruzbike

Started out on a BMX when I was about 5, then went onto various road bikes and MTB's until my late teens, then had a three to four year break from cycling as I did other things. Then bought a serious road bike, snapped the frame a few years down the line so bought another frame. Then that broke...

Going Disc Brake on Drive Wheel

Jagwire or brake housing is not a pain to install, apart from feeding the cable through the frame (which should be easy enough as you can take off the seat) it should be no hassle. And as others have said I'd go with the TRP brakes. I did have BB7's on the bike but these are a pain to set up...
