Hey Ray, This isn't a rack,
Hey Ray,
This isn't a rack, but look at this thread and scroll down about 3/4 of the way to Noahvale's post. He's got a water and gear bag mounted behind the seat that might be what you need.

I am at the stage now of trying to figure out a commuting bag set-up as well as a waterbladder system. I have an older CamelBak unbottle that I use on my trike and Easy Racer but not real certain I can make it work for my Silvio.

looks great! I really hope
looks great! I really hope Cruzbike offers some kind of standard brainbox soon so that storing a waterbladder, tools, food, and extra storage space (you know, for living life, carrying cargo) is easy. That would be so awesome if there were something easily...
...I had some ICE saddlebags that I took to the local cobbler shop to shorten the straps and I'm really happy with how they turned out. I tried putting my brainbox on that back but it just wasn't what want. On one side is my waterbladder and the other is wallet, tools, phone, tube etc.
...Bags to see what they can come up for the new model. I will bet they will have a nice bag solution to hang off the headrest so that one can put a waterbladder in it. Here in Arizona, I just can't go out with a water bottle. Most of my rides are 30-40 miles, and this would just not be enough.
...range of motion is below par, so I can take the bottle out but not put it back in!! I am trying to stick with bottles and not go the waterbladder/brain box route but I am
am not sure how. I think I saw someone put the bottles in cages under the seat pan, Si I considering this option...
On my 1.5, I found the water
On my 1.5, I found the water bottles behind the seat difficult to reach. I much prefer the rack/bag combo in the back, with a camelbak bladder inside. I think my Bachetta Brain Box support would also work on a Silvio. It is inexpensive and easy to build so...
...the Quest during my Sebring Century in February. I was riding with my Bachetta Brainbox with an assortment of tools, spare tube, 1.5L waterbladder, 2 V8 Fusions - man I was carrying some weight :-) and a rather large rag to wipe off chain grease should I get some on me.
I took the rag...
...for responding
Peter,
Thanks for responding to my email and I am glad you jumped in on the forum! It would be nice to see a solution from your company in regars to a bag that would hook on top of the seat as well. I like putting a bag ther to hold my waterbladder and other essentials.
I just ordered a Bacchetta Brain Box. Anybody have any recomendations for brand/model/size of waterbladder/reservoir that will fit well inside this bag?
Thanks,
-Eric
...It proved to be a real lifesaver once.
As I got to the turnaround point of a long and hilly training ride I discovered that the waterbladder in my bag was almost empty. Somewhere along the way the tube from the bladder to the bite valve got nicked by the spokes and there was a small...
hydrating
Hi Steve,
> (I have not learned how to rehydrate while riding that low!)
I have read a lot of your posts. I can't remember what kind of Cruzbike you ride. I have a Silvio, and my seat angle isn't quite that low, but I have found that a great way to hydrate is to put a...
Hi,
In this blog post, I talk (and show pictures) for upgraded: trigger shifters, grips, second mirror, and brake pads. I also show how I have my rack and waterbladder mounted.
Enjoy! (or not :) ).

measured pace ...
Oh yeah. With the RVs wandering all over the road, with detritus and debris in the shoulder of the road, with the road surface craggly and potholed ... safety was my first goal.
Actually, even if the road were clear and glass smooth this was another equipment shakedown...
HR strength ...
I just did a 400 km brevet on the Vendetta and I carried a lot of gear in the seatbag that hung off the headrest. Before that I've done about 5 back and forth 50 milers on what I call the `hardrock highway.' I put a 70 oz bladder, a 16 oz water bottle and lots of tools and...
The politically correct corroplast holder I've got on my Silvio now is sized to handle both a hydration bladder & Camelback .75L water bottle. It took a couple of tries to get it right, but at least I had plenty of material to work with. I used some Krylon satin black spray paint (in the...

Unlike yourself, I don't have the benefit of seeing Jack's Silvio up close. My opinion regarding the bag's width (which BTW Hotdog concurs with) is based purely on the photos that were posted. Another point that I notice from the photos is that Jack has fitted the bags over the aluminium...
The last time I saw Jack's bikes, the bags looked pretty good on it. Better than in the pics. My only concern was for the fact they prevented access to water bottles. Now, if they accomodate a hydration bladder..... That would not be such an issue.

All valid points, I wouldn't disagree with any of them. :)
Maybe once you have a pair of the new Terracycle Double Century bags you could post about them here Mark.
You'll probably have them well before I can afford/justify buying a Silvio to try a rack on.
