Thor seat on S30v2 vs. handlebar height

Using the instructions from several seat/neckrest threads, I've installed a small Thor Sport G seat on my S3ov2. After a few short rides, I like it--I can even ride without a neckrest. But now I need help with handlebar positioning. The seat put my shoulders a lot farther forward, making my...

CRUZBIKE A67 WHEEL SET TUBLESS CONVERSION

I had 28mm Rivendell Ruffy Tuffy (Panaracer) tires on my Silvio 1.5. The Continental 4 Seasons tires on my S30 are nominally 28mm, but 26mm by actual measure on my particular wheels.

Anyone set up their Q45 as a 29er (700c) yet?

It may be possible. There's enough clearance for fenders with the stock 26" x 1.75" tires, so a 700c should fit. Even the old Quest v3 with the unsuspended front would take a narrow 700c. Someone else put 650B wheels on theirs. https://cruzbike.com/forum/threads/quest-2-700c.8053/#post-29236...

    THE NEW Q IS COMING

The Cruzbike Quest v2 (Q451) was my first two-wheeled bent, almost 4 years ago. I could ride it the first day, but it took me several months of drills and neighborhood rides to really be confident (I was also slow learning to ride a bike as a kid). Now I can ride it one-handed for as long as I...

    Quest front suspension

Welcome! You should be able to get both the unsuspended fork and the longer chainstays from Cruzbike, as they're the same ones used on the current QX100. I swapped the chainstays a couple of years ago, and am about to change out the fork (or have the LBS do it). Also consider replacing the...

    QX100 Suspension maintenance?

I don't believe I've ever seen anyone here admit to actually breaking the shock, though a few may have worn it out. You should still be able to ride, it just wouldn't...suspend. Replacement shocks might be available from Cruzbike. For that matter, I'd be happy to send you my old shock as a...

What did you do to your Cruzbike today?

Step back and look at it again. That's a Cruzbike logo.

    Stall speed of your Cruzbike?

That's how I conducted myself when I rode trikes--as if I were on a tiny three-wheeled tractor. (One of the trikes happened to be green with yellow decals, and I had added a slow-moving vehicle triangle along with a flag.) I greeted everyone whether I knew them or not, and waved cars behind me...

    Minimum X-Seam on Quest Bikes

The minimum x-seam for the Q559 should be about the same as the current QX100 at 33". Not sure whether/how much different it would be on the Q451, with the shorter chainstay. I have (what used to be) a Q451. Before I converted it to larger wheels, I let my 4'10" niece ride it. I had the...

    Comparison Chart of Past Cruzbikes

I worked on a spreadsheet when someone last asked this back in the summer, poking through the Wayback Machine for info, but never did finish. I'll probably do some more on it this winter. TerraTrike has an evolution page they last touched around 2004, and a chart of legacy specifications, as...

    DELETED Quest - $800 - Fresno, CA

Yep, that's a Quest, not a QX100. The logos look like the ones on my Q, purchased in May 2014, so I'm thinking late 2.0/early 3.0. Later iterations of the Quest 3/Q559 had a large letter Q instead of the word Quest on the frame near the head tube, and no front suspension.

    Finally rode a century

If you'll indulge me, I feel the need to wax elephants--er, I mean, eloquent. :p The first year I owned a road bike, I signed up to ride in central Mississippi's MS150. Thanks to the lingering aftereffects of Hurricane Katrina in late August, the usual two-day October event was shortened for...
