I don't think so. I tried removing the free hub, with no luck. Whenever it craps out, I'll have to build a new wheel.

Your frame accepts a thru axle wheel and it has post mount disc brake tabs on the front and probably flat mount holes in the rear. You can just upgrade either of the bikes yourself, for very little cost.
