    From the highlighted comment and the picture, it seems the new stay is shorter than the old "standard" length. My V20 has an "extra-long" chainstay, curved slider, and the stem just 5mm from fully slammed. I'm hoping the new stay will be available in "extra-long" stay as well.

    Do note that the chainstay length changes with boom adjustment since the front end is not a true triangle. This doesn't meant that an eccentric BB won't work. You'll just have to adjust it to compensate. I would like to know more about the eccentric BB because I have a NuVinci wheel I could use.

    ...but chain tended to come off. The other option is to use the NuVinci wheel I built up, and use a chain tensioner. Adjusting the boom does change the chainstay length since the front is not a true triangle. I am betting that the inner boom tube will be the same as on the QX, 1.242 inches or so.
