What I did to prepare for Sebring 2017 ---today

21 fl oz perhaps or the defacto 24oz? I was going to try it on 70 oz.

That's interesting that Larry might be going all discs. I noticed the zip drag cda in the wind tunnel tests were a lot better than anything else. Heck he is in it to win it.

What I did to prepare for Sebring 2017 ---today

It's been perfect since I've been here. Today everything came together for me, I am definitely riding the rubber seats. Just need a pipe retention device to stop the wind from blowing it into the rear wheel. I got some good speed today. The temperature when finishing was 79f. After doing the...

Well I didn't put the last panel on the side as I think she looks pretty good the way she is. I did take the ventisit pad off though. The ventisit pad I have soaks up the resistance so back to the 15mm rubber seat plus shoulder supports and lumbar pads.

174km in 4.5 hours. That's a heck of a pace. I think I have to get behind someone. Probably shave my head as well. Gosh... I think I have spectators that are coming to cheer me in. I hope I don't fall off my bike when I cross the line. Today I changed out the 9 degree of float on the cleat...

What I did to prepare for Sebring 2017 ---today

Well ... Still don't like my times. I can go a wee bit faster if I change the seat configuration so I have this ready to check tomorrow. I also have mastered the new cyclometer and I have a new nutrition scheme in place. Yesterday I got zapped by too much sun. The cyclometer said it was 31c in...

    Little tweaks

You just need to be quick and put your finger on it.

I just bought this pump. My brother's pump wasn't working properly so I bought him one. All his 700c tires were down. One bike had 83 psi and the other 60 psi. Do you notice anything odd with it? Usually I have the type reversing mechanism but this is different.

It's got a screw thread on it so I guess you need an adapter? Probably just tried to rush. (I can't tell you how irritated I am)

One step backwards... What ever you do, don't try this pipe adapter with a tubeless tire. It deflates and the bead pops off the rim. You are better off just taking the covers off after your day's adventure and put the usual clasping hand pump on the valve.:mad::mad:

    Eye catching

I had six people yesterday tell me I had a great looking bike. I luv it. (I actually luv it because it rides as good as it looks). Just wondering if the t50 is going to be around at Sebring? If I offer my bike for anyone to ride most say no as it looks too outside their comprehension but the...

It was down to my breathing on a cold visor, there was moisture in the air too.

I have been riding on the Okeechobee trail that's 20mins away from Sebring. At 8 am it was still misty and when cycling my glasses and visor started to fog up... What on earth do you do with that? Guess you have to ride without visor and glasses?

What I did to prepare for Sebring 2017 ---today

It seems to be coming together. I have my last big ride tomorrow before Sebring. We are heading for Lake Okeechobee ... One of the larger lakes. LOL I will be able to test out my hydration system and see what the new beast can achieve. This time I will try to keep my heart rate down. Just...

    Little tweaks

Alas these beauties didn't work out... It's not apparent but the bridge of the aero base bar is too narrow to fit on the boom. If the V20s boom is smaller then I probably will keep it as I think it's a great idea having small stable handlebar. I decided to use the old aluminum handlebars with...

Heck... It changes all the time. The other day it said rain and early this morning I am sure the max was 25c. Let's just keep on eye on this as it seems very variable

It's going to be hot at Sebring. All... Start thinking about hydration You might be perfect on your trainer but if you get your hydration wrong things get tougher. I have a halo device that I haven't tried yet. The last thing I want is to stop to wash out the salt from my eyes.

What I did to prepare for Sebring 2017 ---today

Well my bike has just arrived at Orlando. I am here now but there isn't anyone in the office so I have to wait for a few moments. One of my upgrades is to switch out the Shimano Ultegra 11:25 cassette and put on the Shimano Dura Ace 11:28 cassette. It's quite a little bit lighter and supposedly...
