Mark Unlike yourself, I don't have the benefit of seeing Jack's Silvio up close. My opinion regarding the bag's width (which BTW Hotdog concurs with) is based purely on the photos that were posted. Another point that I notice from the photos is that Jack has fitted the bags over the aluminium...

The last time I saw Jack's bikes, the bags looked pretty good on it. Better than in the pics. My only concern was for the fact they prevented access to water bottles. Now, if they accomodate a hydration bladder..... That would not be such an issue. Mark

All valid points, I wouldn't disagree with any of them. :) Maybe once you have a pair of the new Terracycle Double Century bags you could post about them here Mark. You'll probably have them well before I can afford/justify buying a Silvio to try a rack on. :cry:

...pointed out, it does depend on using a rack and a trunk bag. From my point of view the ideal solution would be a seat back bag with a water bladder pouch, as used on a lot of other recumbents. Some experimentation and possibly a bit of modifcation will be needed to find one that's a good...

Ah, OK, sounds like the FastBack System hydration packs, specifically the Double Century. I've got one on my Bacchetta for carrying water, tools, spare tubes and so on.
