    Rear brakes and seat angle

I moved the bracket to the I moved the bracket to the middle hole and loosened of the rear brakes a tad. I think it has eased the chance of the rear brake locking up. One benefit I didn't expect, with the shift of weight to the back, has taken some weight of the front suspension giving a...

    Rear brakes and seat angle

Thanks for the quick Thanks for the quick response. It is quiet unnerving when you lockup the rear brakes(don't want to think about locking the front brakes ) Would it be worthwhile to adjust the rear calipers so they are not as effective ?

    Rear brakes and seat angle

OK, I've had a problems with the rear brakes, when I was stationery and on a slight hill I would use the rear brakes to keep still, but on the Quest the bike would still roll, the brake lever was ok, but it just would not hold the bike on a hill. So I had some BB7's sitting at home and I...

    Nice pannier/pack for Quest

Hugh, I've had my Quest just Hugh, I've had my Quest just over 3 months and one of the first things I did was to replace the rack. I ended up getting a Topeak MTX BeamRack (A-Type) with the optional side frame: I've used this rack to carry panniers to work. Gets two thumbs up from me.

Couple of question in regard to riding recumbent?

I rode to work tonight, and I I rode to work tonight, and I rode up the steepest hill I've attempted so far on the Quest(I think the Garmin said something about 7-9%). I honestly thought I would have to walk part of it, but I actually made it up ok.....well sort of, ran out of gears and got...
