Anyone have experience shipping the old style Silvio with a welded seat pan? A regular bike box is too small and my LBS has nothing bigger to offer. I could cut and tape two boxes together but will that be strong enough? Any advice is appreciated

Rode my first century this weekend on a Silvio in 5 hours 50 min. The next day I rode my second century in 5 hours over a flatter route. The more I ride this bike the more I like it.

I use the Kurt Kinetic Road Machine and it works great. The roller can be positioned in front of or behind the front wheel but with the Road Machine I find it works best up front. Any trainer than can accept the longer QR should work.
