2019 S40 Frame set - What Wheels and Group set?

I weigh about 192 pounds and would like advice on the selection of a fast set of wheels/hubs for running tubeless tires. I will be using disc brakes. Who is running the 1x system and how do you like it?

Silvio 1.5 to S40: Seat Angle, Headrest, No Suspension

    1. Is the S40 seat angle greater (from vertical,) than the S1.5? I can't look at the specs because it is not available on the website yet because the 2019 launch is tomorrow. 2. When riding with a headrest, does the helmet get in the way? Does the Performance Adjustable Headrest solve that...

Kurt Kinetic Rock and Roll Trainer for Silvo

Indoor Trainer for the Silvio - setting it up. I finally did take a closer look at both sides of the dropouts where the skewer passes through and determined that I can remove the skewer and reverse it, and place the trainer in the normal position. No special skewer cone required. I had...

Kurt Kinetic Rock and Roll Trainer for Silvo

Indoor Trainer for the Silvio - setting it up. John - so are you are saying that the orientation shown in the photo above on the left (my setup,) is not good for the trainer?

Kurt Kinetic Rock and Roll Trainer for Silvo

Indoor Trainer for the Silvio - setting it up. I am setting up a Cyclyops Fluid 2 trainer for the first time. First time using a trainer as well. Due to the skewer issue, can I reverse the trainer like in the first photo? Seems to work, but I am not sure if I can get enough resistance or if it...

    Personal best downhill speed

Personal best speeds Very impressive speeds Marshall & KidneyBoy. It is indeed thrilling to go fast on a bicycle. Less than an inch (x2) contact with the road, no protection, wind in our faces, the feeling that at any moment we could wobble and go down. I remember riding down the Col Du...

GARMIN 800 VS. 810 THANKS KEN. I DID NOTICE THE REBATE. I WAS CONSIDERING THE 810 BUT MIGHT GO FOR THE SAVINGS INSTEAD. SO THE 810 IS LESS STABLE? I WILL HAVE TO DO FURTHER READING. (Sorry for the caps. I'm an architect and we annotate our drawings in capital letters.) Thanks Chris, Eric...

    Personal best downhill speed

Speed on flat road & top downhill speed I did once reach a flat land top speed of 33 mph on my Silvio. Downhill, although risky, was 46 mph (start of this string of posts,) and some might consider that not very smart. Yes, it is risky, but I've been at 143 mph on a motorcycle in Death Valley...

Silvio AIr Shock to retain pressure

RICK, DID THAT SHOCK PUMP TimOz, Yes, it did work for me. But sometimes I think my suspension sticks in the compressed position, or it leaks air over a period of a few days. I will keep monitoring the situation, this time checking pressure before each ride.

Silvio AIr Shock to retain pressure

RICK, DID THAT SHOCK PUMP I haven't ridden it since I tried it. Following the instructions, still a little bit of air leaked out. But it seems solid while standing over the handle bars and pressing down with the front brake on. I have to wait until I ride and go over a swale in the road to...

Silvio AIr Shock to retain pressure

Thanks guys Thank you jdorlon, Doug, TimOz, and defjack. Your replies are very descriptive and helpful. Tim, I had noticed that the black alloy fitting screws in & out at the hose, and I suspected there was a technique to be followed. So I had tried various methods of release from the valve...
