    Zwift Steering

I think I finally found something that a Cruzbike can't do with a KICKR: https://zwift.com/news/17853-futureworks-steering/ https://support.zwift.com/en_us/steering-SyENwVbuS Maybe a giant lazy susan under the KICKR itself? o_O -Eric

    WTB Bullhorn Handlebars

Nope. I like mine. I'm keeping them. :emoji_wink: Did you check with Cruzbike? They might have some squirreled away somewhere.

T50 - whatcha planning to build.....

Didn't try it but after mounting the tire on my velo I am even more interested in getting a pair to fit on my T50. I don't think fit will be a problem but can't guarantee until I actually try it. -Eric

    Houston I have a Problem

I'm surprised based on my experience on the Q45 but I'm a short and stout little feller. What size are you and can you post side photos of you on the Q45 holding your handlebars? I assume you've rotated the bars as far as you feel comfortable? -Eric

    Wide 700C tires

Compass Cycles has a new 55-700 tire. Perhaps Cruzbike can tweak the S40 to accept these? https://www.compasscycle.com/shop/components/tires/700c/compass-700c-x-55-antelope-hill-tc/ I have the Compass Rat Trap Pass 52/54-559 on my velomobile. Really nice ire. Very lightweight and fast. I've not...

    iQ2 Power Meter on Kickstarter

This should be interesting. I've pledged for an early bird left-right. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1468298434/cycling-power-meter-at-a-breakthrough-price Ray (DCRainmaker) already has a video on these things: Risk is high but cost is low enough to make me wonder but willing to...

What I did Today to prepare for Sebring 2018

NH24C? The way they do timing tends to slow you down a bit but the event has been well run and fun the 2 times I've done it. Some fun rollers on the 24 mile loop. Weather can be dicey - from marvelous to thunderstorms that have on ocassion shut things down for several hours. -Eric

What I did Today to prepare for Sebring 2018

This post about Christoph Strassers power data is interesting. Not sure if it has been posted here before. Unfortunately Sebring appears to be a no-go for me this year unless something weird happens. I will try for N24HC which is about 90 miles from me and/or maybe Calvin's Challenge which is...

    Updated Conversion - CruzinSpeed 2.0

I thought Arnold and Raptobike went kaput. Are they back in business or did you source a Raptobike fork from somewhere else? -Eric

Effect of lowering boom on steering tube?

You mean like this? :D My cranks aren't really as high as it looks above but getting close. No problems steering. Here is another shot: -Eric

How best to determine crank length?

I have 170mm on my Vendetta and 155mm on my velomobile. Subjectively they "feel" about the same to me except on steep climbs at low speed. Then the 170s feel a bit better but that might be more a factor of the much lighter weight of the Vendetta since the velomobile is much, much heavier.

    Neck rest?seat angle issues

I'm curious about this headrest. Can you post a photo of either you or Pluckyblond using the headrest? Especially the difference between the red and yellowish one. The red looks like you'd be star gazing... The piece that cups the base of your head/top of your neck looks like a good replacement...

    The Cadence Conversations

I'm generally not mashing at 70-ish rpm, just spinning on the slow end. And most of the time, probably on 53-18 and 53-21 with up and down shifts for all of the short little hills around here. Haven't changed the chain until I was prepping for the MHPVA event back on June 24-25, 2017 weekend and...

What I did Today to prepare for Sebring 2018

Yup, it makes it even harder to get motivated to do any serious KICKR time and I'm dressed pretty lightly inside the shell but still stay pretty comfortable. Riding with the race cap is warmer still and more comfortable when it gets really cold and icky but I was trying to enjoy head-out a few...

What I did Today to prepare for Sebring 2018

I've taken it to the Waterford Michigan HPV event one year and alternated between my Vendetta and the Strada. Same events that ran at different times because they were different classes. Pretty tiring though racing both. It is fun to race but requires different strategies. No jack rabbit starts...

What I did Today to prepare for Sebring 2018

True. The Ayup lights are extremely bright but don't have any cut-off so I generally try to just use them when I'm on twisty roads (or paths) above 25mph and definitely on the 40-50+mph downhills. That being said the center headlight works pretty well for speeds up to about 25mph if the bends...
