I use a Click-Stand (http://www.click-stand.com/Customers_Gallery.html) to park my Silvio. They come with several bungee-cord type bands for doing what you are saying. It would be easy to make some out of bungee-cord material or shock-cord or whatever you want to call it.

That stuff may help, but I think you were comparing it to Ventisit which is 2 or 3 cm or 20 or 30 mm which is a lot thicker than the stuff you are referring to. Look at this site: http://www.ventisit.com/. I would think that the 3 mm stuff would flatten out and not do much good IMHO. Good...
