    Request for Vendetta identification/age analysis

The this frame is an original Vendetta frame (Hydro-form) - it originally had the big boom & slider. The black one shown in this photo is was put on after the fact (unless there were some proto-types sold out there that I do not know about) - The best of my knowledge the red V20 was the first...

    S40 Wheels for smaller cyclist

I have the same issue on an S40. The V20C is lower therefore a little easier to start and stop for short-legged people like us.

My Very First Recumbent is a V20

I was hoping to see where the end of you boom was at your handlebar connection. Ideally a short video of you from the side pedaling circles (without your chain on) is the best. To me your knees could be lower. I would try a shorter chainstay to drop your knees, got 145 cranks so you feet don't...

    S40 Wheels for smaller cyclist

If you are close enough to come to the Cruzbike Museum (Hilton Head Island, SC), I can get you on both an S40 and V20C with both 700 and 650 wheelsets so you can see the difference. The V20C is much lower and you would probably not have an issue you leg length. Plus you can always put a wedge in...

My Very First Recumbent is a V20

I think a curved slider would help this Cd*A get lower. Show me a side view of you with one of you feet on the pedal at its apex and I might have some other ideas.

    Q45 frame needed

That is correct. Any Quest model predates the current Q45 Series. The Gen-1 of Q45 was released March of 2018 So, that means this model is could be 7-10 years old. The "556" nomenclature may refer to the ISO rim diameter of 559mm, which corresponds to a 26-inch wheel size. Not really sure...

Andrews V20C Build 2025 discussion (1st time building bike)

You might need to. Is this ring part of a Rotor crank? If so you might need to keep it on to prevent the crank from sliding back and forth. You really night need to get them involved - or whoever the maker is.

Andrews V20C Build 2025 discussion (1st time building bike)

surprised your LBS does not have one - just keep trying it - spin it backwards until you can feel the click when it runs past the first thread and then slowly start trying to wind it on. I have had a few that were a little challenging to get started. Other things to try. take a really strong...

Andrews V20C Build 2025 discussion (1st time building bike)

I have a tap to run through - sometimes the paint process gunks it up a little. That large of a tap is a little pricy though - You can probably take it to you LBS and they will probably do it for you for free to cheap - This is the easy way to clean it out

    Minimum Speed Climbing

If you ride with wider handlebars you will have better balance on the steeper slopes (with practice) - I have personally witnessed Tor climbing 23% grades slowly and methodically , where I could not do it - partly because out of practice but partly because I had super narrow handlebars barley...

Cruzbike Vendetta V20 - SCAM - read and learn how to detect

I know Jim & Maria rode their Cruzbikes in a couple triathlons - I think they have to be "CAL-Tri" version that allows recumbents.
