Hello Everyone,
Yearly, my wife and I collect all photos we have for the year from both sides of our family and make custom calendars for everyone.
I just finished the one for my side of the family, and I said to myself:
"Self - wouldn't if be really cool to do a Cruzbike Calendar and have it available so that anyone who wants one can just order it and pick it up the next day at their local Wal-Mart?"
So.... figured I would just put it out there!
How it will work:
You email me any photo(s) you would like to be included in the calendar. (I will not use anything vulgar or questionable just so we understand each other).
Give me pictures that have the largest resolution as you have. At least 1Meg.
Picture(s) could be of your bike, of you with you bike. (If you just give me one of you bike alone, please at least try and get me one of you too, so I can stick it on the same page as your bike.)
For someone like Ratz, give me a photo of each person in your family and their bike, and/or a group photo too.
If you rode in an event, give me one from the event and the date it was taken.
Send me your birthday, and I will also stick that on the appropriate day.
I will probably try and put you on the month page of your birthday, but no promises.
I may grab stock photo of different Crukbikes from the website and forum (or wherever) too, BUT, the resolution is usually pretty bad. Cruzbike only lets us upload max image size of 1Meg, but I just tried to save a picture that I uploaded as 1 Meg, and got it back significantly smaller... so not very usable.
Please get me your photos asap - but lets say by Dec 31 at the latest. I can create the calendar in 1 day and then share it will everyone.
It costs $12 to order it on the Wal-Mart site, and it is ready the same day (or sooner!) they are fast aren't they
Once I create it, I will share it with you via your email, and also give you the link to the Wal-Mart site.
