Sold with stock components (see list below), plus rear rack. I'm the second owner. The first owner put a few hundred miles on it before health issues forced a sale. I bought it to compare against my Silvio. The more upright posture is nice, as is the Viscoset headset. It's as good a ride as everyone says it is, but I can't justify keeping both bikes and the Silvio has a feature I might need in the coming year: it packs into a suitcase.
The bike is in excellent condition, save for a few nicks and rub marks from careless leaning against whatever. If I was going to replace anything, it would be the brakes - but you may have better luck coaxing adequate performance out of them than I did. I'm including a seat wedge for those who want an even more upright posture when learning to ride (please forgive the rodent nibbles along one edge - it was stored out in the shed).

For the new thru-axle on the S40 we chose a sleek, leverless style that even houses its own internal removal tool for the axle itself and brake rotors. |
