Iron frame, wooden spokes w wood/iron wheel and one rattlie-ass ride, literally. You push it Fred Flintstone style. Brakes are soles of your shoes. Welded foot rests. Pedal propulsion would take another 50 years to emerge on the highwheeler. Great day of bikes, rides, friends and food.

He’s not Amish but he is a great bicycle historian. Recently authored a book on the history of the bike and Louisville KYs place on that history. Has a great collection of oldies but goodies
